Agreed. It give Chip Kelly a year to install his offense and run it with Vick while adjusting to the speed of the NFL game.

Then next year he can draft his QB of the future. Crossing my fingers that it is Johnny Football.

Just saw the packers release Charles Woodson wow.

i guess they feel he can't play anymore. I'd bring him for competition at safety if I were the eagles, he has to be better than the scraps we have back there now.

Oh definitely. He's not as fast as he used to be, but he's still a good player and a great veteran presence for any team. Packers just have some good, young, and cheaper talent in the secondary, and Rodgers, Matthews, and Raji's contracts are coming up.

Worst D of all time! They need something and Rob Ryan can only do so much. Would like see something like Sharper happen for Woodson. Great player. Make it happen Loomis.

The eagles offense made the saints defense look like the steel curtain this past season.

That was the most disappointing season I've ever witnessed as an eagles fan.

Fortunately as a saints fan I'm quite used to disappointment. So handling a bad season isn't anything new to us. Lol But it was hard setting it after so much success in recent years.

Yeah I think just the whole year without Payton killed the season. I think all will be back to normal next season.

The Saints/Drew Brees still scored a lot of points though. I think they finished stronger than they started and I think the main reason for the season was 75% terrible defense 25% Brees' pickfest.

Not sure what Payton could've done to turn the tide in either of those two issues.

I just think the morale was hurt so bad. Not to mention Aaron Kromer just looked like he was in awe of being a coach those few games. Vitt turned it around but the defense was the biggest problem for sure. History will tell that for a while. Brees didn't help matter either. It just baffles me how he can be like a machine and just all the sudden wtf! His only major flaw imo. He manages the games well when he doesn't commit stupid mistakes though.
