Well you guys know I am a 100% Pats fan, but I am not saying that we don't have problems. But I also understand that people make some dumb decisions, and while Alfonso Dennard will not spend more then 3 months in jail, hopefully he will get a level head and play to his potential.

Looks like Andy Reid is interested in bringing Nick Foles to Kansas City. With the re-signing of Mike Vick and the signing of Dennis Dixon, I say why the hell not?

If Andy is willing to give up a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Foles.. I'd take that in a heartbeat because Foles sure as hell won't be playing in Chip Kelly's system with Vick and Dixon there.

KC has no one at QB either so that makes sense for them.

At this point for Foles, giving up a 2nd or 3rd rounder is too high.

Chefs need to build a TEAM and I don't think Foles is someone to build around either.

Better off suffering with Cassel, Quinn, or Thigpen for another year so long as they draft right and fill holes or build depth. Take a QB when there are worthy QBs worth taking.

I mean, they could always suck for Manziel in a year or two's time...

That's not true. Chiefs are a playoff team that did shit because of terrible coaching. If you look at the team in 2010 they were essentially the same and they were in contention for the playoffs till 4 major players went down for the season one after another. Then they fired Haley for no reason and hired Romoe Crennel and team pretty much shit the bed since. With Andy Read they are automatically a playoff team, especially in that division. They just need some minor tweaks.

I can actually agree with you here - but even still, I don't think Foles is the guy you spend a 2nd or 3rd rounder for.

Conversely, the Eagles, with all that talent, were a playoff team too.

Andy Reid knows Nick Foles .. considering he was the one who drafted.

If Andy thinks Foles is good enough to be the QB of that team, I don't think Andy will hesitate to pull the trigger on a trade.

Foles is certainly better than any QB on the KC roster right now, IMO

I'm not liking the QBs in this draft. Geno Smith is considered the only 1st rounder and I don't think he's that good.

If your team has a QB need, they should either pick one up in the 2nd round or go after Alex Smith.

Why is everyone saying go after Alex Smith? Am I the only one who thinks Alex Smith is a fraud? Am I the only one who didn't forget that it was 7 years of sucking prior to Jim Harbaugh turning him into a serviceable System Game Manager? This is the same guy who was benched after being 6-2 losing out to a 2nd-year QB that nobody had on their radars prior to his breakout?

Yeah, KC takes Alex Smith and I pray that they remember he won't have Vernon Davis to throw to or perhaps, even Bowe will be gone. He might respond in Reid's system, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I honestly don't see the fascination with Alex Smith. He turns in one decent season and he's considered a beast. I don't get it. lol!

I'd rather take a flyer on Drew Stanton.
