Playoff wins. Although they are getting there. It's not all his fault mind you. He's just been one of those highly touted QBs since day one. I dislike when the media does this before they have ever taken a snap in the NFL.

And lately, everyone is hyped as a HOFer after 1 season. Give em at least 3-4 years in the league then anoint them.

For Matt Ryan' case, he has at least paid his dues in that regard.

As much as I like RG3 and Russell Wilson, they need more time instead of being dick-sucked like Kaep, Luck etc until they've done their dues.

Just look at how every writer, pretty much, talks about the Ravens' SB run. They talk about how the Ravens beat Luck - like it's some sort of accomplishment. The accomplishment was beating Peyton, Brady, and that Niners D.

Don't get me wrong, these are all good young QBs. Just don't start labelling them yet.

He's highly touted because he was the first QB taken in the 2008 draft and because QB are now playing like veterans these days. I'm not saying they deserve to be named HOF yet. Some of them, like Cam Newton, could end up being busts. The thing is, Ryan is doing his job and doing it well. So why not pay him well? He can't help he was the 3rd overall pick, but he's playing like he was picked.

Apparently Revis might be on the market. What do you guys think?

I mean he was clearly the best CB in the league before his injury but he's 28 now and is sort of a head case.

Would you take a chance on him?

After what happened to Nnamdi? I'm not sure. But someone WILL pay for him.

Tbf, Nnamdi wasn't exactly used to the best of his abilities.

I wouldn't. He is a head case, asking for new contracts so soon. On top of that, you got the torn ACL. Lots of players aren't the same after tearing it, like Mario Williams and even Ronnie Brown.

A team will give up their 1st rounder for him, you can bet on it.

Matt Ryan is a decent QB, but he's not a War Time General. The one and only time I'll put him in the same category as Peyton is in this sense. He gives you awesome regular season stats, but then he'll fold like a lawn chair in the playoffs where it matters the most. With all the weapons he has, he shouldn't struggle that badly especially in the non-defense NFC. (Sans the 'high and mighty' 49ers D) Maybe its because I'm bitter my man Flacco still doesn't get the love he deserves. I'll never understand it. Christ knows I really won't.

Jets are actually making a smart move for once. Hopefully they get a deal done and get Revis out of there. He might be a shutdown corner, but he isn't worth the money he's asking/going to ask for. You need solid DB's and beast pass rush, and that'll fix the loss of Revis. (Who can't cover Speedy WR's anyway) And

@ Jets signing Brady Quinn. Another useless QB pick-up. Should've stuck with Drew Stanton. Could've been a really solid move.

Man had 11.5 sacks. What more do you want from the boy? Heard you guys would try and replace him with Freeney if a deal isn't reached. Don't see it, but we'll see. Wes Welker in a Broncos' uni? That fact that the Jets are even willing to try rid of Revis, who was the best DB, maybe even the best defensive player in the NFL before his injury says a lot. Something isn't right with the guy. For what he'd cost , I'd say he isn't worth it. Someone will certainly trade for him though, if he's actually available.

Nah Ryan's got good stats, good player. I can't hate on the dude. I only hate on those that prep him and hate on Flacco - because it really is "WTF!?!?!?!" when that happens. Makes me think people don't know what they're talking about.....

BTW, I don't get when people say about Flacco "he's only getting one" ring - that's more than most of the other QBs out there (and have palyed), and as good as some of the top 5 right now...

When are people just going to see Brady Quinn for what he is. A great college player who turned out to be a below average NFL QB. He has never showed anything that is bright. I don't even think he is worthy enough to be a 3rd stringer. He's just not good.

I am not a fan of replacing Doom with Freeny. But Doom is over paid. Not a bad player, just not worth 14 million. Hopefully they can work out a compromise... less money upfront but more guaranteed etc

As far as ia m concerned next year is all about righting last years wrong and returning the Lambo to its rightful owners- the Broncos.

Personally I don't think the Ravens make the playoffs next season... but that probably depends on how the Steelers rebuild...

Well, you know I gotta boast! might not ever see it again. I mean it was 12 years ago last time my city was on the mountain top. Also people have been saying the last 2 years the Ravens wouldn't go to the playoffs. Doesn't seem to me that people see how serious of a state the Steelworkers are in. They keep playing this restructure contract game that has finally caught up to them. They're losing Mike Wallace.

Don't know if Ben is fully recovered from his wear and tear injuries. His offensive line is still a joke, and, the Bengals are on the rise. (There you go, Bash) As I see it today its a two-team race. Prior to this past season it would've been Ravens/Steelers as usual. With the way the Steelers are on life support it appears to be a Ravens/Bengals affair.

Ravens had their biggest turnover in a while last year. The core folks are coming back and should be fully recovered from injury. (Ngata, Webb, Suggs) And once again Cam won't be there holding my QB back. So now he can throw 50 TD's for 10,000 yards and get that "Elite" Stamp the Fantasy Football panzies love to jizz over.

it just sucks. barring injuries- the broncos should cruise through the regular season nex year. (knock on wood)
but I won't enjoy it at all b/c I know the playoffs are the only thing that matter

basically I won't be able to enjoy football again until January...
