Resistance: Fall of Man content coming on March 23

Insomniac Games' Resistance: Fall of Man will receive new game modes on March 23.

Keeping gamers playing your game is something that's becoming increasingly more important for software developers and publishers. We've already seen Gears of War updated with new maps and now it's the turn of the PS3's Resistance: Fall of Man to expand its offering.

On March 23 - the same day as the PS3 launches across Europe - two new game modes, Team Conversion and Assault, will be released. Team Conversion takes the existing Conversion game mode and puts players into teams. Assault is a team-based game in which each team must protect their base and attack the opposition's.

Also coming on March 23 are a number of changes including a controllable spectator camera, tweaked matchmaking and the radar becoming a custom game option.

While gamers are enjoying the new game modes, Insomniac will be hard at work creating the next batch of new content, this time including two new maps. Scheduled for release in May, the update will include maps set in the snowy hills of Westmorland, England and Camborn, England, where action will take place above and below ground.

The May update will also enable players from the world over play together and make it possible for players to purchase new maps from within the game.

Are these for multi player only? I hope single player too, being I don't play online at all.

I heard nothing for the single player game.
You will have to wait for Resistance Rise of man.

Try multiplayer though... it is fun.

I wish we could get more sp content, but I highly doubt it. The new maps will be cool, though.

No they are two different games. I would say Fall of Man has a little bit more reply value then Gears does. But both are awesome.

Yea I kinda of wish there were some sp updates to.... I could understand someone not wanting to play online.... Online in resistance is a CLAN fest.... seems everyone is in a clan...

There is supposed to be an update coming that has something to do with the sp mode. They didn't say what exactly though.

Sounds great. I don't mean to be going off topic or anything but a new game mode in Gears would really help that along from the almost repetative 3 modes.

so on march 23th there WONT be any new maps? the maps are coming in may.. and they have to be purchased? ..is it going to be offline maps only or online only or both??????? they didnt state this did they? if theres a price i wonder what they will charge for a only a mere 2 addiction maps??? it freaking better not be like $9.99.. heck the most i'll pay for ONLY 2 more maps is $2.99.

i heard $4.99 per map...maps will be continued to be added.thats what gt hd is about.that's why they stop the original release date.they said lets make money off selling them cars and tracks verus giving the cars for free.

the patch should be free.but the maps is a other story..uniforms and cloth who knows.

now its free to play the game online, but we have to pay for maps and game content, i can deal with that.
do they just debt your creditcard?
