    Regarding online play?

Ok, ordered my Playstation, just a little question concerning the online play.

I have a PSP, and can connect wireless network to the internet and use the Web Browser etc...

Am i right in thinking that the PS3 will use the same technology?

Meaning i will be able to take it straight out of the box, plug it in and be connected through my wireless router, or will i have to do something else?

If you're network is encrypted, then you'll have to put in the key during the initial online setup. After that, you can surf the web like Frankie Avalon. You'll also have to set up a PSN account... Casino Royale BAby!

Yea works pretty seamlessly. Until you download the updates. My suggestion would go to the website and put them on a flash drive. Much faster that way.

The network is fine if you do it during non North american prime times, I downloaded Resistance in 17 minutes at 7am EST, but took about 2 hours to download F1 the night before. They are both about the exact same size.

ummmmm yeah it is pretty much like a bigger better psp. So you don't need to do a lot of setting up. just configure to connect to the internet and you ready.
