Foreign PSn accounts?

I just got done downloading HSG5 from the Japanese ps store and was wondering if sony is concerned with us being able to do this and if they plan on releasing a patch to stop it. I for 1 hope they don't stop us, but they might what do you guys think? And do you think it would be worth getting Euro accounts after launch to get their exclusive stuff? Do they even get exclusive stuff? Thank you for your time.

If they didn't want people to do it, they would have already tried to stop people. I don't think they really care for one. Its not like the games on the other stores are only made for those countries. Its not like a Jap game is telling everyone to kill the Americans. Not matter what people will find a way and I think they might as well let the people if they really want to.

Yeah, I don't think it really doesn't matter to them if you download it off servers not ment for your region. They might have been planning to launch the game/demo later in your region, but I doubt they exactly start crying if people download it anyways.

I'm currently in Dubai and I believe on the EU server.

Do you think it's worth me creating a US account? Have other EU people done this?

Could someone really quickly provide a little help on how I create one? Can I do it from inside the PS3? Or do I have to signup via the internet?

I have an EU, US and Japan account (making the last one is a bit more difficult as it is in a different language)

All you have to do is create a new user on the xmb, go to "sign up for ps network" under friends"...go to create new account rather than use existing one then just keep going through that and leave out billing address.

You will have to find a valid zip code as well.

1) Do you notice a big difference in content between the stores?
2) When you download things are they only viewable by the user you're logged in as?
3) Have you heard any trouble about having multiple accounts and people being banned?

I read instructions on how people could enable the Warhawk beta in their account and they were completely banned. Is Sony also tough on multiple accounts?

1. If you are in the EU region, it is a HUGE difference, and I recommend getting both the US and JPN accounts set up. For a list of demos that are exclusive to their respective regions, go here.

2. You can use anything you buy or download off of the store on any account on your PS3.

3. I'm pretty sure that you won't be banned for having multiple accounts. I think that the people in the Warhawk situation were probably illegally sharing the beta, which in turn got them banned.
