also it says in there that since xbox 2 is going to release their counsol earlier, they most likely will not have blu ray on the xbox2 but this is still only a rumor. game revolution is still unknown wheather or not they will use blu ray.

And Finally, What About Next-Gen Consoles?
Sony has already announced that it will implement a Blu-ray drive in its next computer entertainment system, or the unofficially-named PlayStation 3. This alone should be a massive mover of Blu-ray drives and players.

The next Xbox and Nintendo systems have yet to name storage formats, though if Xbox 2 (or whatever it will be called) is released late next year as many people think, there may not be enough of a lead time for it to include Blu-ray. Of course, that's still up in the air, but we don't expect Blu-ray in Xbox 2.

The next Nintendo system is a different beast, however. It should be out after Blu-ray hits the mass-consumer, so its inclusion is possible. However, as Nintendo went with a proprietary solution for GameCube (basically a smaller version of a DVD) then it's hard to say what that camp will do. Only time will tell.
Blu-ray will most likely NOT be on the next Microsoft console...

You just double-posted, even after you specifically said that you didn't want any modly interference... *Scratches head*

Munky, please, I have posted several times on this forum that MS has no tie to Blu-Ray or HD-DVD in relation to Xenon.

I would definately recommend you not say it is likely or unlikely that either will be on the next MS console.
