You have to have broadband internet service. If you have a 60gb console you can hook up to the net wirelessly via Wi-Fi. As long as you have a wireless router. Just go to the PS3 network setting and let it auto detect your wireless router.

Nope. As long as you got something for the PS3 to connect to. (wireless router, wired router or modem itaelf)

Hi, bought our 60gb console today, need help!

I don't have a router, we have broadband through virgin.net, and it only had the little silver box that came with it. What exactly do I need to get and how do I go about it to get up and running on the network?

All help greatfully received! Thank you x

Bridges are made for wireless. I believe your friend wants you to purchase a wirless networking card for your PC. from there you would be able to bridge your internet connection with your wireless connection and with your 60GB PS3 connect to the internet through your computer wirlessly.

Hi Cody, thanks for replying. Is this easy to do with an old pc? Although we have broadband we are running it on Windows 98 (yes, shamefully, i know, very old!)
