    http://ps3.ign.com/articles/775/775342p1.html

    fun facts from me.

If the US launch had the equall unites per person as UK, USA launch would have been 1.3 million units.

Have you guys read the reports about M$ trying to upstage $ony with chairs, boats, etc. That is freaking hilarious. That is some balls on the part of M$ marketing dept.

Looks like Saturday may be difficult for some people to pick a PS3 in UK stores? I am sure in the smaller towns this will not be the case, but in the bigger ones... of course there is on-line ordering

Balls... Hmm... I call it immaturity. But, hey, what do I know... I guess Sony, Nintendo, Sega, etc... never had the "balls" to do the same to their competitor's launches... Never had the "balls" to insult the user base they're trying to cultivate, to troll their competitor's launches... Sorry, only Microsoft has the "balls."

    Excellent response bobtheduck

I have never understood Microsofts game plan and i fully expect more of the same (xbox elite and the new xbox 720 in 2009/2010). I am not knocking MS i had the original xbox but they do seem hell bent on talking more about there competitors than concentrating on themselves. I think deep down they know the PS3 is a superb machine (multimedia) as i found out today when i got mine, and they will try whatever they can to knock it. Shame really i feel the games industry has enough fanboys, the last thing it needs is company excutives bashing each other

I read a post about Microsoft trying to crash the PS3 launch in France. I am usually unbiased in the console wars, as I have respect for both systems. But consoles and games aside, I can honestly say that your average 360 user is a lowlife, degenerate loudmouth and Microsoft's marketing strategy is cold-blooded, ruthless and tyrannical. Some things are just out of bounds.

Not only UK, as it was said before, here in Portugal it was CRAZY!

As an example, the store where I picked my PS3 up, had 70 pre-orders + 20 PS3's available for ppl without pre-orders! I guess that ilustrates how well its selling

I was amazed how many ppl were at the midnight launch, over 50 in that store I got my PS3 from
