However, I'm suspicious because they've played up to it. Usually it just naturally happens. Like when Randy Orton was last heel, the fans just took to him and they naturally made him a face.
Different sort of scenario, but similar concept in my opinion.

CM Punk or Cena (or both) are probably going to be featured more on SD! now. I like both, so It wouldn't hurt. But if they do that, they should just scrap the whole Brand thing altogether, because SD! feels like a continuation of RAW now.

I can't even see him taking time off, since he said to Christian this week or last, that he was coming back for the IC title.

I read the other day that the brand extension can pretty much be considered over, so I think that's the way they're going anyway.

Here are some notes on Randy Orton's WWE Wellness Policy suspension:

- At this time there is no word on when Randy Orton actually failed his wellness test. The word is that a few people high up in WWE knew about the situation days before it was announced on the WWE website.

- The WWE writers didn't learn of Randy Orton's suspension until it was posted on WWE.com.

- Following Chris Jericho's suspension, WWE was looking to build a PPV match between Orton and Dolph Ziggler.

- The feeling is that Orton's second suspension puts WWE in a bad place. WWE has built around Orton for years and he is considered one of the company's top three stars. He is one violation away from a WWE release, and in the past, WWE has been hesitant to push stars with two violations.

This is the second time this has happened to him and one more and he is gone... The WWE is being to tough now a days

It is being reported that WWE is considering merging the US and IC Titles once again. With the company recently bringing back the classic IC title design and considering that the IC Title has been a WWE staple since 1979, WWE will likely drop the US title after a unification match.

At this time, there are no plans to unify the WWE and World Titles. The reason is that WWE likes having both belts defended on the separate RAW and SmackDown live events

This i hope goings through or at least try and make full use of the US TITLE in some way.. Like defend all titles often

Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if they made an exception for Orton if he was to make another violation.

And if they do merge the titles, I do hope they keep the current IC title. I've grown to like it, and if I got a real belt in future, that is one that I'd consider getting!

What would you call the belt tho? Even though it technically wouldn't be the Undisputed Intercontinental Championship, that name sounds cool lol.

They are keeping the original i.c title and i am happy the original is back. But the u.s title is an old tite. Its been with the wwe since 1963 or so, so they need to defend the us title more often or drop the belt and only bring it back, say on the 4th july for he celebration of an usa holiday

IC title has been with WWE since the 70's I think with Pat Patterson being the first champion. The US championship is a title originally created by WCW, so if they were to unify the 2 it'd be obvious which one they'd pick to stay. (The IC title of course since it's their own creation and Vince is petty with things like that).

Apparently, at the Wizard World convention (?) this weekend, CM Punk said that he's seen the new WWE title belt, but stated that it's not much better than the current one.

I've heard that it's being described as a mix between the UFC title, and the current spinner title that Punk currently has.

Wow, Raw was terrible last night. Absolute garbage with imo Ryback and Daniel Bryan being the highlights. The eternal optimist in me is hoping that it was SUPPOSED to be that awful of a show as a work, so Vince can come back next week and say "What in the motherfucking shit is this crap?". Unfortunately the rest of me knows that's being delusional.

where on earth did u get this?? this looks really unfinished an looks alot similer to the spinner!! imo that doesnt look much of a change tbh with you, im aware they might have a new look title for the 1000th raw show but that really looks to similer to the 1 now, i just hope theres a big change between the spinner & new title i dont want it looking similer with little effort of change to the WWE Title, it may show how lazy creators really are.

looking forward to the raw 1000th an the new Era of WWE! i hope it will be a blast cant wait to see whata next for WWE in coming future. hearing past superstars will be there even the likes of out of contracted superstars may join the party! the rock, stone cold maybe there if they can make it, lita an trish, rumourd! batista could may well be a part of 1000th raw show unsure if true. bret 'the hitman' hart will be there & many more. we may also see new WWE Title.

I reckon this will be the real deal, sadly.

My brother read a while ago that the new title is apparently a cross between the current spinner title, as is evident with the WWE logo, and this MMA belt:



So far, it is looking like that prediction or statement is correct.

This really is awful. For the top title of the whole company, it's too plain. I'd even go as far to say that the spinner title even looks better than this! The only good thing this one has going for it is that is says "Champion" as opposed to "Champ".

I had heard that the new set of belts that have come around are now designed by workers within the company, as opposed to real belt creators and designers - that sounds about right.
This is horrible.
