Was watchin' the Montreal Screwjob aftermath (screw you, HBK) but couldn't help but love his(HBK) intro holding both the Wing-eagled and the European championship. Why doesn't Vincent do this anymore? When was the last time the guy on the brink of success holding both top tier belts? Now I know that would be hard in the WWE today since their titles mean nothing now, but you get what I mean. Just wondered
And hot damn, time flies! I was 10 years old when the screw job happened. Locked in and ready for action as my wrestling savior Bret Hart did the job to HBK. Man, good times!

DDP on raw, nice one and this is how they are getting the oldies back on raw for raw 1000th. Hoping the undertaker returns. They have a story for him at survivor series, the place it all started for him back in 1990

Undertakers Return
Partial Source: The Wrestling Observer
-- On Monday's RAW SuperShow, Brock Lesnar's legal representative, Paul Heyman, announced that in three weeks on the 1,000th episode of RAW, Brock will personally announce his response to Triple H's challenge for a match at SummerSlam on August 19. According to sources, Lesnar versus "The Game" will headline WWE's annual summer pay-per-view event. Creative has finalized plans for matches two through four, but they are being kept "top secret." The pay-per-view event will feature seven matches in all including a gimmick match of some sort.
-- WWE's creative department are targeting Survivor Series on November 18 for the return of The Undertaker.
After undergoing two major surgeries in the past year and performing suitably at WrestleMania XXVIII, many company employees believe he has several more matches left in the tank and will almost certainly compete at WrestleMania XXIX.

Eh.. call me crazy but I don't want to see Undertaker back at Survivor Series. An appearance on the 1000th Raw? Sure. Other than that I'd rather have him wrestle once a year at WM, like a novelty act.
Also anyone watched TNA Thursday night? The black dude wrestling Lars Only (who btw is Johnny Yuma who wrestles for PWG), is an indy wrestler called Kenny King. He's a bit of a controversial topic atm because he basically fucked Ring Of Honor over. His contract expired and they had a verbal agreement that he'd return or something along those lines, he could take bookings but not appear on national tv. Well he broke his promise and appeared on tv, the big thing is though that he's currently the ROH Tag Champ with Rhet Titus. Now ROH doesn't want him back so now their tag storylines are fucked, but Kenny King burned a bridge with ROH even though he's not guaranteed a contract with TNA.. interesting stuff.

Is anyone else getting sick and tired of the Big Show? I seriously can't stand him anymore. Nearly anything he's involved with gets skipped by me. He's doing the exact opposite of what he should be doing at his age. What he should do is put young guys over, instead he buries anyone that he gets in the ring with (The Corre, CM Punk/SES, Cody Rhodes). Not to mention he's becoming very unsafe in the ring (he injured like 2 or 3 guys in one match a couple months ago).
I understand he sells alot of merch (as a face), but honestly he just needs to quit, he's not even close to how good he was in the '90's. Because believe it or not, Big Show was actually able to do a Shooting Star Press back in his early days at WCW, he never used it on tv but various wrestlers have confirmed he did it at house shows. He also could move around very well and could do dropkicks.
Right now though he's just a fat slob who's getting pushed for no reason at all. Hopefully this is his last year..

Destination X gets a thumbs up from me. Great PPV, TNA is on a role. Too bad the Ultimate X sucked serious ass, other than that there were some very good matches + the main event was great.
EDIT: Destination X spoiler:

Yet to see Destination X, but seems to be amazing.. trying so hard to not view any spoilers.
Because they don't have anyone else that is credible.
Apparently, Tensai was supposed to get the push but he wasn't over enough to get a push. Also, would much rather see Henry getting that push shame he's injured.

Not sure wheter these guys book or write, or do both;
Hogan does creative input I think but isn't really involved with the creative aspect. The writing team is made up off Dave Lagana, Bruce Pritchard, I think Matt Conway and Bischoff definitely has something to do with the booking too.
Lagana and Pritchard have both worked for WWE, Lagana wrote Smackdown in '08 I think and I think we can all agree SD was great that year. Dave Lagana is also known for working long-term storylines, and he mostly has the mind of a fan iirc. He used to have a live podcast before he went to work on TNA's RKK and he always had a bit of a smark-ish mindset which isn't a bad thing to have in this day and age.

Thanks for the answer. Still don't understand why they are not pushing their home grown talent. Like, A.J Styles anyone? Samoa Joe when he wasn't looking like a damn fool? But I don't watch it so I can't really judge them so negatively.
Also if you haven't looked it up people, check out Cornette on Youtube. His shoots are too damn awesome for network television. Goes to show how HBK used to be a prick and why idiots run the show now a day and you guys have to watch rubbish.
Lastly, I saw a piece of Raw tonight. I saw Sheamus vs. Swagger and MAN! MAN!!!! how has Swagger become such a jobber? Isn't he a former champion? Just gettin' kicked in the face and that's that. What the hell? lol! I thought it was just funny.

Pushing home grown talent?

Cornette is entertaining, I wouldn't give him too much credit though. He's running ROH atm and he's running it in the ground like a fucking idiot. Thing is, Cornette doesn't see how much the business has changed since the territory days, and he's still stuck in that time. He was great back in the 80's (from what I've seen, read and heard) and he still has something good to offer but right now if ROH keeps getting booked they way it is it might not make 2014.
As for Swagger, he just plain sucks and has absolutely not a damn thing to offer..

That's good to read. I'd love to see Steve Blackman kick someone's ass!
It seems typical to assume that he'll be there, but just not having Stone Cold's name on that list, or any mentions, is a bit worrying. It'll be a big disappointment if he's not there to do something.

Unfortunately Cena will be there......
Austin has to be there. It would be an insult to celebrate 1000 episodes and not have THE biggest name in the history of RAW appear.

Exactly.
I just had a chat with my mate, and he said maybe Austin will run the show, as he was once the Sheriff. That would be cool.
He's been out of the title picture, but 90% of the time he stills get in the main event slot, whether it be on Raw or PPVs. But I do know that he lost the main event slot last night to AJ, so that's cool.

Not shocking he's always in the main event scene hes their biggest star reguardless of what the internet thinks.
I did like how eve made reference to CM punk being out shined by rock, brock, cena ect... but i doubt that they do anything with it (the wwe)
