Cen is a joke. CM PUNK should be the new face off the WWE

Thanks to Spyrde/Sylar

Don't care if I'm going against the grain here, but I kinda wanted Daniel Bryan to win last night, as I feel that Punk is getting boring now.
The way they've made him tone down his content and feel a bit like a "sell out" with some particularly lame comments has put me off him a bit. I'm not saying I dislike him, but if he could do promos again like this time last year when he did the epic shoot promo (the tone of content) I think he'd be brilliant once again.
And last night they should have let Dolph Ziggler win the title and have a good run with it. Sheamus is now boring and he'd probably gain some credibility if he could work towards getting the title. The pop that Ziggler got last night when it seemed he was going to cash in the briefcase was amazing!

My problem with Ziggler winning is he JUST had an opportunity against shemus like a month ago. I was going for Cody, hopefully we see some of the older CM punk cause this water down version SUCKS!

Yeah, I get what you mean. But I was all in favour of either Ziggler or Rhodes winning, because I feel like the two of them are definitely ready to step up. However, it feels like they've been dropping Rhodes recently, so it feels like Ziggler had the more momentum and selling power going into the PPV last night.
And I suppose another good thing of Ziggler winning it is that he's basically done it off his own back, whereas one could possibly argue that Rhodes has the backing of his father.
I'm be surprised and extremely disappointed though if Rhodes is not within the top title picture by the end of the year.

Agree with you that he needs mic time and a good feud. The Christian thing feels worn out and doesn't feel like it can go anywhere else.
When he had the mask, his consistent paperbag promos before his matches were really good. Would like to see some enthusiasm and drive like that again.

Dolph Ziggler, in my opinion, is similair to Edge. Edge is the poster child for how the brand split watered down the rosters and, thus, the championships. In a non-brand split, unified championship WWE, Edge would've been lucky to win one world title.
Same with Ziggler, I just don't see a main eventer in him nor Rhodes. They both lack presence, and especially Ziggler lacks charisma and mic skills. Idk I'm probably in the minority here but I'd hate to see either of them win the a top title.

Ziggler needs better mic skill i agree but he is a great in ring performer.
Ever since rhodes lost the mask he has become very generic to me but im hopefully with the right opportunity he can develope into something better character wise

Ziggler reminds me of Bret Hart. Great in ring abilities, but lacks that overall mic presence. He is so-so in that area, like Bret Hart was, but made up for in his matches.

Ziggler doesnt have the presence bret had but in reality i dont feel ziggler has been given the same opportunity bret was given. Bret was more like chris benoit to me and i did enjoy benoits title run

I heard Cena is apparently going to make a big announcement on Raw tonight, which I would assume will be about his title shot.
Although Summerslam is coming up, I wouldn't be surprised if he has his title shot on the 1000th episode of Raw just because they want to make a big deal of the whole thing, and then they can debut the new title belt. All makes feasible sense.

Spoilers.
BY GOD THE GREAT JOHN CENA DIDN'T CASH IN ON A VULNERABLE CHAMPION, HE NOW HAS MY RESPECT AND I WILL FOREVER AND EVER CHEER FOR HIM.
HUSTLE, LOYALTY, RESPECT!
Seriously though, I am sick of that fucking douchebag main eventing every ppv without the title, I will be sick of him when he buries Punk and I am just sick of him in general.
Fuck off Cena!

Raw was better than MITB good show!
I was alitte shocked to find out Cena would be cashing it in NEXT WEEK i was thinking it would set up a match with CM punk at Summerslam and how is the ROck going to tie into all this? Maybe the Rock will screw Cena in the match?
A wedding next week? this should be good but def looking forward to Next weeks raw!

Yes they are announcing a permanent GM. Personally I wish they would drop the whole GM thing for awhile and allow things to flow. They change it up to often, and have them way to involved at times.

Now you see he was a guy who filled that role nicely. Great presence, and loads of credibility/respect built up over the years. They need someone like this again if they do indeed move forward with a permanent GM role. Stephanie comes to mind, and would be PERFECT.

7 years and counting!
