Just finished wathcing the Hulk Still Rules on Netflix - Man, the crowd and the euphoria just isn't what it used to be. When Hogan is put in a sleeper and his arm stays stretched on the third raise is intense. You always knew it was going to happen! Hogan vs Warrior at WM6 is my favourite bout ever.
I would have loved to have seen Hulk vs The Rock at WM18. The crowd was wild.
As a wrestler though, I think Hulk is useless. The way he takes a knock or a fall is ridiculous. He just knew how to play the crowd which all credit to him.
I have now finished Edges, Bret Hart's and Shawn Michael's Netflix releases and they are great!

Some info on WWE superstars being pissing of
Randy Jade
Source: WZROnline.com
In addition to the aforementionedJTG/WWE managementstory, we can exclusively report that numerous othertalents in WWE are becoming increasingly frustratedwith the balance between what they are paid, what they should be paid, andeverything that goes into being a WWE Superstaron the road. Specifically mid-card WWE stars don't like the fact that they are forced topayfortheirowntravelexpenses, all-the-while the pay offs they receive for the live events they are traveling tocontinues to dwindle. Issues such as health care not beingcoveredbythe company, travel expenses being put on the talent, etc.continue toresult inmorale amongst the wrestlers dropping at a rapid level. As we exclusively noted in our previous post,we have confirmed that Zack Ryder, SantinoMarella,CurtHawkins,TylerReks andMANY others including WWE Divas are very upset with the company right now.
As noted, during WWE's recent tourofBrazil,mid-card wrestlerswhousedtoget $2,000-$4,000 for live events saw a huge decreaseas they onlyreceived $500 for their work on the otherside ofthe country.Afterreceivingsucha smallpayoff, the talent went back on the road, where they are forced to pay for their own rental cars, hotels, food and other expenses. Talentdeals with this as part of the life of a WWE Superstar on the road, but have to deal with ranking issues.Theysee producers/agentshave their travel expenses taken care ofwhile they ride private jets andlimousine's tothe arena. Stars higher up on the card, suchas John Cena, CM Punk and The Big Show have their own personal buses owned by WWE to travelin. Meanwhile, the mid-card and lower-tier talent inthe company have torentcars out-of-pocket,while enduring financial issues stemming from decreasing pay offs by the company. We're told travel for all producers/agents andmanagement(guys whodon'teven wrestle) is coveredby the company while mid-card guys sit in economy/coach during their flights.Economy class, also called coach class,is the lowesttravelclass ofseating inairtravel, rail travel, etc. Many feel there is noexcuse forthis as WWE makes millions of dollars and these are the guys who are on the road200+days per year with little time off. They feel they deserve betterconsidering they puttheirbodies through hell ona weekly basis in order to help the company succeed.
Top talent in the company still receive a substantially higher pay off from live events and merchandise. John Cena for example, earns somewhere north of40percent of his merchandise sales, while mid-card stars, who are still top-five/ten merchandise draws such as Zack Ryder, receive south of 10 percent of his merchandise sales. Santino Marella sells a lot of merchandise as well andalso makes very little from sales. Ryder andMarella also aren'tgettinganyincome from theirpopular YouTube.com shows.
When WWE travels overseas, conditions formid-card talent is even worse. When talent gets off the airplane in whatevercountrythey are touring inat a giventime, generally there are three buses waiting for the mid-carders that they allhave to pack themselves into, unless they want to go into their pocket for a rental car. Many lately haven't been, for fear of spending the extra money to make travel more convenient only to find their pay off from the tourthey're working considerablylessthan what they are accustomed to receiving. A good example ofthat, again,is the recenttourof Brazil where stars were expecting anywhere between$2,000and$4,000,onlytofind out they were receiving$500fortheirwork.To saymany were pissedoffat this is an understatement.
The problem is increasing to the point that many inthe company are talking more than ever about a union within WWE. Stay tunedtoeWNas we willbe publishing a lengthy piece on the union issue within WWE in the verynear future.Last edited by claud3; 08-10-2012 at 08:04.

God, AW got fired for that? AW was actually one of the few positive things about the WWE and the only reason the PTP are even getting air time. After this, I won't be surprised if they're split up after two months.
Linda McMahon running for office? Gimme a break.
Brock Lesnar is an amazing wrestler. He's a better technical wrestler than the Rock, but Rock has that charisma/excitement; and he can actually wrestle a lot better than shown on tv. Plus, his return match was versus John Cena so... don't hold that against him.
HHH won't take an F5, because he's HHH and I'm so rooting for Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. Paul Heyman is what has kept the feud remotely interesting.
And if the article is true, mid-card guys have to pay for their own expenses is ridiculous.I talk to myself because I'm the only one whose answers I accept.

After WWE unceremoniously terminated A.W.’s contract Friday for what a company spokesman says was due to his continued use of offensive and inappropriate comments on live television and on social media after uttering a rape joke on the July 30 episode of RAW, the All World Promotions chief posted a barrage of vitriolic messages on Twitter blistering his former employer for what he percieves are double standards.
A.W. strongly feels it is unjust that he’s now out of job when Big Show made a similar remark referencing NBA player Kobe Bryant’s sexual assault case, Vince McMahon reneged WWE’s anti-bullying campaign two months ago on RAW by mimicking Jim Ross’ facial paralysis, CM Punk told a fan on Twitter to kill himself, Triple H simulated mock sex with a mannequin in a casket and D-Generation X continuously references their genitals. Fans comments he posted include:
“McMahon is a hypocrite! It’s cool for him to mock JR’s Bells Palsy, & you aren’t cut any slack for one joke? #BeAStarVince.”
“I hope Vince hasn’t forgot How he mocked @JRsBBQ on #RAW live, and @AWPromotions gets released for one joke?”
“@if only you had strangled someone with your tie, you’d be back within 6 months lol.”
“so Dx can tell everyone to suck it but u can’t make a joke?”
“@CMPunk told one of his twitter followers to kill themselves. biggest double standard in the world.”
“@kane has sex with a dead girl but @AWPromotions makes a kobe joke and gets fired.”
“Vince can kick the leg out from under a one legged kid, wrestle women, mock The mentally retarded and he fired you!!!”
“@Didn’t Big Show make a Kobe Bryant reference in a battle rap with Cena in 2003 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1V6gr8CB-Eg … but AW gets let go?”
A.W. feels he is a casualty of Linda McMahon’s pursuit of a United States Senate seat in Connecticut, which many have speculated has led the sports-entertainment organization to take action on any matter deemed controversial so as not to affect her campaign.
He tweeted to Linda, “Creates jobs my ass!! I’m fired thanks to you and your campaign.”
A.W. is now saying EXACTLY what JTG and 15+ mid-card wrestlers have wanted to say for a long time now. Many WWE talents feel the same way … basically “daring” WWE to fire them so they can come out and speak out against WWE and their current pay, among other things. As we exclusively noted earlier here on the website, Linda McMahon’s second attempt at becoming Senator is an issue that is of great relevance to wrestlers who work for WWE present-day. Clearly there is a parallel that can be drawn from the serious drop in pay offs versus the amount of money the McMahon family is pumping into the Senate campaign.
However, WWE is in a situation where they need to be careful on how they react to issues with talent. One of Linda McMahon’s main running points is that she is a job creator. Obviously if WWE continues to release guys for speaking out, such as AW, or if someone such as JTG or another mid-card wrestler gets the boot for speaking up about the unpleasant working conditions, this would have an adverse effect on McMahon’s campaign. Her Senate opposition would be wide open to smear-campaign McMahon for claiming to be a “job creator” while the company she works for is firing talent left-and-right for attempting to speak up about negative work conditions.
Meanwhile, the talent in WWE is enduring a steady decrease in pay offs, continue to deal with unfair travel arrangements, and now are more nervous than ever before to speak up for fear of losing their jobs. If they speak up, they could be demoted and forced to do more jobs, have their characters devalued, etc. Or they could be fired outright. Thus, most talent chooses to deal with the situation the best they can, thinking it’s better to work for the major leagues under less-than-favorable conditions than work for a B-league or attempt the independent circuit under better conditions.
Following his release, AW went back to Twitter and tweeted the following: I really do hope Linda wins that election because If not then all of this BS has been for nothing. #GoLinda!!
Having been fired from the company, AW has nothing to fear for speaking out, but his tweets speak volumes. As our source indicated, the Linda McMahon Senate campaign is a hair-trigger issue right now in the company. Even a goofy, albeit positive, tweet about McMahon’s Senate run can get you fired, as AW found out this week. Talent in the company would be better served avoiding the McMahon-Senate issue altogether.
It's said MANY more talents want to speak out against WWE but haven’t yet due to fear of getting the axe. We’re told things are going to get VERY interesting in the coming weeks, especially if more talents begin to speak out. There is a large group of talents that is seriously considering lashing out at the company due to current pay.
::::
What is deemed to be the real reason he got fired?
This past Thursday on Twitter, AW posted the following tweet about the current Linda McMahon Senate campaign: #AWPromotio$ says vote for Linda McMahon!!! The PTP’z support Linda and so should you!! #VoteOrDie4Linda
According to our source, WWE has no tolerance right now for wrestlers in the company referencing McMahon’s Senate run in any way, shape or form. Even if the subject matter is positive, as noted in the aforementioned tweet, WWE wants no mentions of any kind from its’ employees about McMahon and politics. For both reasons, AW saw his career as a WWE Superstar go down the drain this week.
A representative for WWE told TMZ.com Friday evening, “Unfortunately, Brian Jossie, playing the character of A.W. was terminated because he continued to exhibit poor judgment by making offensive and inappropriate comments on live television and on social media.”
Without specifically mentioning what the “poor judgment” was on social media, they are referring the Linda McMahon tweet. Even though it was a positive tweet encouraging fans to vote for Linda, WWE doesn’t want any talents to even mention Linda McMahon’s name on social media sites as is noted above.Last edited by A7MAD; 08-11-2012 at 16:01.

A.W. said “Titus O’Neil is like Kobe Bryant at a hotel in Colorado. He’s unstoppable!!”
Following the commercial break, Michael Cole issued an apology on behalf of the WWE for A.W.’s remark.
It is said a possible release or suspension was to be forthcoming, especially since WWE swiftly apologized for the remarks upon returning from the break. Could be similar to the Chris Jericho flag incident where the company knew they had to take some sort of disciplinary action.
In addition to that, Vince McMahon was not in a good mood at RAW that night due to the chaos that ensued just before RAW went live with the pyrotechnic fire that caused a stall on getting fans into seats at the venue.
I mentioned in the post above as to what has been considered the likely reason he got fired in the first place, it's clear with guys saying things just as harsh and worse (Vince once called John Cena his N**ga only a few feet away from Booker T years ago on live TV) that the big guns inside the WWE can get away with it far more easily.

not working. But never worry mate
its not a double standard system. Its how powerful you are within the company. Since it was vince that said the N word. He can get away with it, where if it was a wrestler then all bets are off that he is staying with the companyLast edited by claud3; 08-11-2012 at 16:20.

I don't think its going to effect the shows themselves. However it would change the mood backstage for the mid carders also wrestlers are contracted employees of the wwe so they don't have to provide benefits to their talent.
I don't think its going to go anywhere with this union talk. I'd be shocked if they actually were able to get a union formed
