I'd probably go with real just because they didn't do a close-up of it, there seemed to be a security steward right there after, and Punk is known for being a dick sometimes to fans.
The guy looked a little shocked and upset by it all. And it only looked like he was taking a picture, unless maybe he said something too.

This video makes it clear to see that the surrounding fans were pushing Punk down the stairs. It seems that the guy who was hit accidentally knocked the back of Punk when putting on sunglasses (not taking a picture, as I originally thought) and Punk just lashed out. He probably had no idea that the guy hit him by accident (so it seems), but it's still a very bad move from him, especially to do it right in front of his boss.
Everyone's human I guess, but I suppose sometimes people on TV have to have some restraint. It kind of reminds me of when Jericho punched that woman when she knocked his head against his car door frame as he was getting in

Security should have been with him min he step into crowd. I was surprised there wasn't any. I can see Punk getting pissed with everyone touching him and no security. First time I have seen RAW in about 6 months. Not bad. I see diva division has abandon all hope.
