Personally if I were Vince I would FIRE every single writer they have and bring in true writers who are diehard wrestling fans, but at the same time give the talent more creative freedom.

The WWE can not go back to old school, because they put themselves in this position.
But true that they need to build up wrestlers, stories, matches etc etc better
But they have so much going on. It's their own fault

I think giving talent more creative control could be beneficial however wcw did that with their top guys and that didn't end well

Yes, but there are limits to what more creative control is allowed. To be honest I don't think promos should be so scripted. These guys have been in the business long enough to just let the creative juices fly. This is what will give you a meaningful promo, one from the mind and heart from the heat of the moment. These become the most memorable.

It seems when they let talent go off and do their out things recent example cm punk 2011 they flourish.
I just wonder how long is going to be bad for tbh

It should have been like that from the get go... If they want talent to grow, then let them throw in ideas and see where they go
Aka punks epic promo

I was watching this wrestling documentary on the wwe in the 90's with droz and mr mcmahon was suggesting a new theme for his character that was he throws up all the time....it sounded stupid and later droz was paralyzed so that theme didn't last long.
I would just love to sit in on a creative meeting and listen to the idea they throw out there.

Likewise mate... WWE should put WWE fans in the creative part and see what happens
The news is that
The undertaker will work WM29... So will it be Brock, punk or someone new... Taker said he will not wrestle triple h or rewrestle anyone he wrestled before and that's a great thing
So someone completely fresh makes sense

I might've posted this match before, but it's so worth watching twice. TNA should seriously offer Jigsaw/Rubix and El Generico contracts. Their matches are too good to be seen by so few people.
Thoughts?

@Devious; That's Robbie E. , took some time to get used to for me but I've started liking him. Especially now that he's paired up with Rob Terry and doing his "You're not on the list" thing.
From that match I posted Jigsaw (red mask) wrestled 2 or 3 matches earlier this year for TNA as Rubix. He did that X-Division tournament to get a TNA contract (Austin Aries ended up winning). And El Generico (black mask) apparantly has gotten interest from WWE.

Hm, not sure how legit that list is? Michael Hayes isn't on it? I thought he was the Smackdown head writer since 2006 or some shit like that.. I could be wrong though.

Some interesting news
A mid-card wrestler is supposedly coming back to the WWE, to help train the talent
http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news/1...ibly-returningSource: Pwinsider.com
According to several WWE sources, some former WWE mid-card wrestlers could be returning to the company soon. According to reports, there has been a push among some top WWE talents to bring back former talents to work with up and coming talent on the roster. The hope is that by bringing this talent back, they can work with younger talent and help them develop in the ring.
WWE management has taken the suggestion to heart as the company has been thin on talent as of late.Names that are being brought back will be able to populate the mid-card and work with the younger talents to help bring them along and also provide some solid experienced workers to the show. There is a short list of potential names the company is interested in, but they have not yet started to contact them. Thisprocesscould start atany time.
As noted above, thelist is said to be short of potential names WWE plans to reach out to. We'll keep you posted as we hear moreLast edited by claud3; 12-09-2012 at 01:31.
