Why now? Because Raw is at an all-time low. Have you not been watching these past couple weeks? I'm a huge WWE fan, but I can't deny the program has been absolute shit lately.

As for who, these are some guys I want to see return. I know for a fact all of them are in great shape from seeing them still wrestle these days, so I'm not pushing for any out of shapes to return:

Billy Gunn
Mark Jindrak
Carlito
MVP
Johnny Stamboli/Rellik
Steve Blackman
Rhyno (think he might be under contract to ROH though)
Sylvan Grenier
Paul Burchill
Low-Ki/Kaval

Problem with those names though is, I wouldn't want to see them used to put over other talent (except Blackman, Grenier and Gunn). I legit believe someone like Jindrak could be a main eventer (he's huge in Mexico atm) if given right booking. Knowing WWE though that'll never happen.

Well your reports mentions several former midcarders possibly coming back. Nearly any other name than what I mentioned would be useless to bring back. They're supposed to help elevate current midcarders, to do that you need name value and atleast some credibility.
So bringing back names like The Heart Throbs, Eric Escobar, Kizarny, Hardcore Holly and Shawn Stasiak isn't going to do WWE any favors.

Basically they're trying to bring back relevant past mid-carders they failed to push to help the current non-relevant mid-carders they're failing to develop?
