I had an interview where Austin stated he has one match left in him, and he wants it to be against Punk. What a WM moment to hear that glass shatter one more time, and see the bald guy stomping to the ring to open a can of whoop ass. The greatest guy from the Attitude Era going toe to toe with the best from this era. I would eat it right up.

Nope it will be if Austin can, it will be 2014 WM30

It makes more sense to have it on celebration of 30 years of wrestlermania

The fact that anything can happen....wm would be best we already have the rock, brock, triple h, and undertaker most likely wrestling this year at WM.

Austin this year would be overkill however it was also keep punk relevant without the title

Plus I think it was a "seed" having the Austin/Punk interview with Jim Ross to hype WWE 13. It laid the ground work for the match in my opinion.

I'd love to see Austin wrestle one more match, but to be honest I'm getting tired of all this flip-flopping. First he says he's retired, then he says he'd be able to have a full-time run for a couple years in him, then he's too broken down, then he'd be able to get one match out of his body, then he's in the best shape ever etc..

I love Austin just as much as the next guy but come one make up you're damn mind. I wouldn't even mind him saying either "No the match is definitely not happening" or "Yeah I'll be wrestling in 2 years at WM30" very unlikely something like that last one would ever happen but atleast we'd have a concrete answer.

That's a great point they "could" use that it wouldn't be the first time cm punk and austin worked together tho

And I saw a video promoting the new WWE game in which JR was interviewing Austin and Punk. Austin was talking serious trash and saying Punk would lose that belt about 20 minutes after Austin entered the ring. So who knows?

I get what you mean, but when Flair was 48 years old he could wrestle circles around most wrestlers half his age. I'm sure if Austin is in any shape he can do the same.

I'm not just trying to be biased here, but I doubt Austin would be that stupid to come back at that age. I'm sure he realises that his health is more important than the dollar, and he's making enough of that with other projects. Basically, I'm trying to say that I've been surprised that he's literally stayed away from wrestling in the ring since WrestleMania 19 - although he's popped in as a character since, that's something to admire for someone in his (neck) condition.

(Just saying, not trying to pick something )

I think same about austin...Kurt angle is risking his health over at TNA....with his neck problems.

Austin wouldnt want to ruin his legacy like that
