I love it when Mae Young turns up, because even as old birds, herself and Moolah took mad bumps and were hilarious in 2000 and such. They just made that skit last night damn awful.
When she had the Hand with Mark Henry, it was stupid and disgusting, but if they showed a highlight of that on the current WWE TV I would sit back and laugh at it.

Something we've seen before, but something I'd gladly welcome back (but they're probably crap it up) is the Hardcore title and the 24/7 rule. Had a good laugh the other night watching some of Crash Holly's highlights

Backstage Concern Over The Rock & The Royal Rumble


At this time, there is reportedly growing concern within WWE as to whether or not CM Punk vs. The Rock at The Royal Rumble is a wise move. The Rumble is a pay-per-view that tends to sell itself and has traditionally always been one of the most purchased PPVs throughout the years. The concern is over whether or not having The Rock in a high profile match at the Rumble is the best use of WWE's time and focus.

There are some WWE officials who feel that with The Rock appearing at the pay-per-view, the attention paid to the Royal Rumble match will be less than what it should be from both an advertising and creative standpoint.

Currently there is no set plan or path on exactly what is going to happen regarding The Rock at the Royal Rumble and the road to WrestleMania. A few months ago, people would have stated that it was a sure thing The Rock wins the title at Rumble. But now there is less certainty as WWE is said to have not made final decisions on any of the high profile names, feuds and matches for WrestleMania 29. They will be working heavily on this over the next several weeks.

I reckon that if Punk is fit enough to compete a good show at RR, then he will face The Rock. There's decent build-up at the moment, what with Punk having digs at him in his epic promo, and always calling him Dwayne, and now recently with his "Knees to Faces" shirt. And with Rock apparently returning [live] next week, I'm sure they're going to restart the build-up; unless fucking, John Cena steals the spotlight yet again!

Anyway, if anyone is interested:

It avoids complications, increased charges for an international buyer, as well as potential complications.

Last I read though, they're not planning to go ahead with the TLC match - although I read that a week or so ago.

some news on brocks future

At this time, it appears as if a Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H rematch will take place at WrestleMania 29. Lesnar is expected to return to WWE TV sometime in February and will then make regular appearances to build to the WrestleMania 29 match.

Lesnar's current deal will end right after WrestleMania. The feeling is thatWWE will offer him another deal, as they were happy with the pay-per-view numbers as well as Lesnar's performances against John Cena at Extreme Rules and Triple H at SummerSlam.

If Lesnar doesn't sign a new contract, WWE will be faced with a the annual "WrestleMania hangover" dilemma of their special attraction talents (Lesnar, The Rock, The Undertaker, Triple H) all leaving once again. None of these guys will be working a full-time schedule following WrestleMania29.
