News On The Rocks Returns

The Rock is being advertised by WWE officially for the following dates this month:

* January 7 in Tampa, Florida (RAW)

* January 8 in Miami, Florida (SmackDown)

* January 14 in Houston, Texas (RAW)

* January 21 in San Jose, California (RAW)

* January 22 in Sacramento, California (SmackDown)

* January 27 in Phoenix, Arizona (Royal Rumble PPV)

* January 28 in Las Vegas, Nevada (RAW)

The only date Rock is not being advertised for is the January 15 SmackDown taping in San Antonio, Texas. He's also previously been advertised for the Elimination Chamber PPV and additional shows in February.

WWE Monday Night RAW averaged a 2.99 (3.0) cable rating in 2012. This is down from the 3.21 (3.2) cable rating the show averaged in 2011.

The biggest shift for the show in 2012 was moving to a new three hour format beginning on 7/23. Over the course of 24 weeks in the new format the show averaged 4.07 million viewers.

The rock this week and next week raw is celebrating 20 years off raw and talk is that The undertaker, shawn Michaels, Stone Cold and the Rock plus many more will turn up

It's my understanding that this will be the biggest Raw show at the start of this year and they hopefully will keep this going the whole year, maybe not with like stone cold or shawn Michaels

But since this might be the time The undertaker picks his opponent for WM29, it's going to be interesting this and next week
