Wow. Everytime The Rock comes back it makes me realize how weak the roster is. I don't mean for in ring ability, I mean camera presence and mic skills. They desperately need to develop more people, as back in the 90's and early turn of the millennium they were stacked with guys who could kill it on the mic!

Yeah I have seen better rock promo but punk was owning him so he just went to insults. I love the rock but him coming back is a slap to the roster. More so if he wins.

This is going to sound so typical, but the intensity in that promo alone last night had more feeling behind it than the whole Rock-Cena feud did!
How awesome was it to actually have a heel and a face throw insults back and forth that actually meant something!?

(Apart from "Cookie-Puss". That was lame).

What pisses me off is that The Rock has to tone down his insults to fall within the new guidelines (PG). If this were years back, things would of heated up a LOT more.

c.m punk owned the whole show Monday night, with the way he dealt out the words that i know made the rock wish he had a comeback that could fit in with that segment

the rock struggled to top punk and punk knew this and he broke the rock on camera and you can see that... I feel this is how it's meant to go

Have punk out spank rock on words and have the rock just spank punk with a move and hold the title as if he won the title at RR

punk decided at that point, that the words speak louder than an rock bottom hitting the canvas...

Now if only the clip I posted contained abilities of today's top talent. That video had more entertainment in 9 minutes then the entire WWE in the past 8 years.

I wonder how the rock will win the WWE Title everyone is saying he will at Royal Rumble but tbh the rock will be in the Elimination chamber also, so i think he could or might just lose at RR & win it the next PPV! then again i could be wrong an he might win at RR & hold the title until WM which is in WWE's plan's.

Something hit me watching Raw an i dont really watch the Diva matches but tbh i thought kaitlyn being in her ring gear that she is wearing is reminding me alot from the SHIELD's Attire just with out the body vest!! i really think she could team with them, but thats just me lol could be good idea if wanting to win the Diva Title in sort of a distraction way with the SHIELD helping out a little :P

My point is this. Who besides Punk can take a mic in hand and instantly grab your attention to the point you are begging for more? No one. This NEEDS to be fixed. Long gone are the days of great promos and building your character over the mic. Just 12 years ago we had Austin, Rock, Foley, Angle, HHH, Michaels, Hart, Undertaker, etc. These guys could kill it on screen, and had so much personality on both the mic and camera. They could sell me on a feud, match, or themselves in 30 seconds.

Remember Austin on top of the beer truck?

"I am going to strut down Know Your Role Blvd. Check myself into the Smackdown Hotel, roll on up to room 316, and burn that son of a bitch to the ground!"

What a line, and what a moment between two of the all time greats. Great play on words, and catch phrases to truly draw in the viewers.

We'll see I was watching the Stone cold dvd last night on netflix I forgot he walked out on the wwe cause they wanted him to lose to brock in a qualifying match for KOTR.

That didn't make any sense to have stone cold do that. I agreed with his actions

Cena is nothing more than a reason to give kids something to cheer for. The WWE will NEVER pick up momentum going forward until they truly develop their talent with mic/camera skills. Heath Slater is a JOKE on the mic, and so is one of their top tier talents in Randy Orton (which is a true shame). Ziggler is my favorite guy on the roster outside of Punk, but his lackluster mic skills are holding him back from reaching that next plateau. If these guys had ANY brains in their heads they would utilize this time with The Rock in their dressing room and learn from one of the greatest.

A good promo is a true art form that is quickly fading away.

cena is a puppet that the wwe dangles in front off kids to buy respect and the other crap he jerks in their face, he wrestles the impossible odds because he is good fighting evil at a pg level

The wwe markets this as the norm and when it is nothing more than a slap in the face of loyal fans and the one's that known's how the business works and what it needs

The wwe has stripped it's core appeal naked to reveal a company hell bent to self destruct in front off us... Were is they threw punk in to make it look like they are going edgier ...
