Mike Tenay actually mentioned Chavo was in WCW and WWE! That surprised me a little, just the fact that they referenced "the competition".

Anyway, some crazy bumps were taken by all in the triple threat main event. Pretty good.
The PPVs are alright because there's not much talking (which usually sucks). The whole Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan thing pissed me off. His character was so awesome when he was a heel, even though they made him pussy out of most things; now he's just a joke.
And I didn't go much on Christopher Daniels when he came back, but why is he acting like a homosexual now? Did he take a bad bump to the head in storyline or something!?

Bully Ray ruined after going solo? Fuck outta her man, Team 3D was stale as shit by the time they finally broke up. Dont get me wrong I'm a big Dudleys fan, one of the best teams in history, but they've been teaming since the mid 90's - enough is enough.
Ray is one of the best heels in the biz today, he got in great shape and has been in interesting storylines. (this wedding one being an exception but its not his fault)

I also dont agree with the popular opinion that Bischoff/Hogan ruined TNA.

TNA used to reference WWE all the time going back to like 2008, after that they didn't do it much. For example when Kurt Angle joined TNA his career highlights were legit his WWE highlights lol (WWF Champion, World Champion etc..)

They also reference WWE when someone who worked there debuts for them. Pretty sure they mentioned Mike Knox being in WWE when he was unveiled as a member of Aces & Eights.
They likely do it to show some relevance or something like that, to make certain signings seem like a bigger deal etc..

TNA mentions people use to be in wwe to try to make themselves seem like a cool brand that is going to be the future when it really is not. They fucked over their loyal employees like aj style, samoa joe, etc. Do they even have women tag team? I mean that women divison use to be so good now it is just mickie james vs someone then a filler champ until mickie james gets it back. I am really disapointed how TNA has just fallen.

That's one of the main criticisms I have with TNA - there is no consistency. Like you say, for example, Mickie James will fight someone, and then the next week it's someone completely different and they're going off on a completely different tangent.

Now, at the moment, it seems they're going to do that with Velvet Sky. It seemed too obvious that she was going to come in and win that Gauntlet match at Genesis.

It is going to happen soon and hopefully ROH will step up to start broadcasting more. Seriouslly ratings where up for TNA and they where gaining momentum. Wtf was dixie thinking bringing those two. Some great news for the WWE

TNA has dropped the lawsuit that they filed against WWE last year. As most of you know by now, the lawsuit had been filed after Brian Wittenstein, a former TNA employee who had left the company and moved to WWE, had attempted to supply information he had stolen from TNAabout talent contracts and other information. WWE had notified TNA but when Ric Flair tried to get out of his contract to go to WWE, TNA felt thatWWE had targeted them and filed suit.

TNA filed documents on January 15th stating that both sides had agreed to pay for their own legal costs and that the suit had been withdrawn. There is no word as to whether a settlement has been reached, or whether the lawsuit was dismissed with or without prejudice. If the suit is dismissed without prejudice than it could conceivably be refiled again.

The court had previously filed a permanent injunction against Wittenstein demanding that he return all information he took from TNA, not speak of any TNA information to any third parties (including WWE) and not breach any agreements he had signed with TNA.

ROH will never compete with WWE on a national level, I seriously even doubt they'll compete with TNA anytime. They've already filed for bankruptcy like twice, they're lucky they're owned by Sinclair Broadcasting now so the future might be a little bit brighter for them.
ROH having a ratings war with TNA doesn't seem likely (though I'd love to see it), ROH is in a very bad place atm. Their best stars get signed by WWE (Bryan, Punk, Cesaro, Rollins, El Generico) or TNA (Joe, Styles, Aries, Daniels) and with the exception of Kevin Steen nobody gives a damn about most of their current stars (Haas & Benjamin, Jay Lethal & Davey Richards for some).
I do hope ROH becomes bigger than it is but if they keep dumbasses like Jim Cornette around nothing will ever change.

well there you go, it's the old getting involved and not letting the fresh brands breath on their own and learn from their Mistakes

TNA, ROH and loads off others need to grow under the belief off success under their own power and not expect to get help from the oldies, unless the oldie owns the company aka Booker T's promotion and Hulk Hogan's Mini wrestling Champion

The WWE learnt the hard way back when the turf wars were happening and that then was the toughest point in wrestling development and you have to agree that now a days, the turf wars are none existed

and if they came back now, all independence promotion would have a fair slice of the rating pie and competition for talent would be incredible and WWE would find it hard to be fresh all the time

In away the promotions of old are still around in small bits here and there and Jerry the King Lawyer still provides the WWE with fresh talent to compete at their development company to move to the WWE
