Best to go to somewhere like www.avforums.com for a question like this,
I would say the Sony is better, for a start it is bigger. If you were going to compare 2 it would probably be better to use the Sony KDL-40W2000 as this is the same size as the Samsung.
With the Sony there has been clouding issues, and the Samsung has only just/ not been released so not many people know much about it.
On a final note, take into consideration that the Samsung has HDMI 1.3, but whether the TV Screen actually makes use of that is another question altogether

I bought a Samsung and took it back...
But it was different technology. I bought a rear projection 61" Samsung DLP 1080p and the picture wasn't as good as my parents Sony XBR 60" 1080p LCOS, so I took the samsung back and bought the 60" Sony KDS-60A2000. The picture is great and I have no complaints about the tv. However, the two tv's you are looking at are different technology so I would check out some official reviews. Hope this helps.

Well as you're talking about official reviews should this topic maybe be removed to the Tecknology section,or i should wait some hours, before getting some help, but as i have looked at this one is the only thing that's annoying is,that sony one is 46 inch, and the Samsung one is 40 inch,so can some one find/give some reviews about who's the best.

It would be better to compare the Sony KDL-40W2000 than the 46, they will be generally the same.
A review for the KDL-40W2000: http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/television...9285565,00.htm
An interesting post about comparing them:

The Samsung got one of the best reviews I've seen at a site I trust a lot
http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/Samsung-LE40M86BD/
Also the Sony is reviewed at the same site. You can do your own comparisons. Their reviews are quite detailed too.
