    Aqquired an Xbox 360! games?

Hey guys, a friend of mine moved out of the country and left some stuff including a 360 which i'm going to be borrowing until he feels like reaquiring it.

Hoping it will last that long. Now anyways to the point. What games would you xboxer's recommend me getting?

I will be getting a ps3 evt so multiplatform games aren't what i'm looking for unless the xbox version is said better.

But yeah, basically what games would you recommend me getting?
He has Gears of War with it so i'll definately get to play it.

    So anything else?

Note: i won't be going Live, atleast not in the beginning so offline games to begin with and if you must mention online game then stress that it's mainly good online.... use a * to simbolize it or something.

Could you tell us what type of genres of games you're into?

Oblivion comes instantaneously to mind though.

Oblivion is good (if you like RPG's, which I don't), Dead Rising, Saints Row, PGR 3 is awesome, Crackdown is a blast to play, you have to try Viva Pinata, it's very addicting, Lost Planet is good too.

Crackdown is a must.... Dead Rising is something very different than most games these days.... also Condemned is a really atmospheric first person horror/adventure game that is sure to put some chills in you while playing at night...

Crackdown, Call of Duty 2 (awesome single player), and Dead Rising would be good games to start with. Viva Pinats is cheap and offers a pretty unique experience too.

You don't need to pay for Live to play online: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XLink_Kai

Not as good as Live, but it's free.
