The next building is the tallest contender for the title of world's tallest skyscraper.
Burj Dubai in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Status: under construction. Floors (when completed in 200: 160. Height (when completed in 200
: 2313 feet (705 m)
It will be tallest structure ever built by man when completed.
Do you have a favorite skyscraper? Post it here. I will post more skyscrapers gradually over time.

While we're on the whole Biggest thing in the world..thing here's something I saw in a movie that is actually going to go into construction soon. It's called the Freedom Ship.

The Freedom Ship is billed to be the largest ship ever constructed. Designed by a team of 24 engineering firms & consultants, it will be almost a mile in length; 750' wide and have a 25 story superstructure. It will be topped with 2 aircraft runways capable of handling 40 passenger jets, its own railway transportation system, as well as its own marina. Designed to be more of a floating city than a traditional ship it will house 50,000 residents, 15,000 employees & 20,000 day guests.
The 'City At Sea' will circle the globe every two years following a route to keep its residents in perpetual sunshine.

Oh i ve heard of the Freedom Ship on Popular Mechanics....for Kids...good show though. So its gonna be in sunshine for how long?! So what if that thing sinks when its holding its max capacity?! 80,000 thousand people will be scrambing for lifeboats... and all these planes. damn thats gotta suck. Do people have jobs on the ship? other than crew and employees? Either way i would like to visit that thing...just dont wanna walk from one side of it to the other :P

Aw damn spiderman i was going to post that one hehehe
I really cant wait for this thing to get built, this is probably one of the best projects ive saw so far, or the pyramid city that was planned...which i cant find pictures of just now (i'll keep trying)
And the ship as well, im not too sure about that one, i mean imagine if you got into bad weather....that would be a catastrophe!
Where could this ship actually be without it being in danger of tipping over by bad weather or even a freak wave, no way i'd go on it...I have no signature.
No, really, i don't. You're just imagining this.

That's the tallest tower in the Dominican Republic, Torre Citibank (actually called Acropolis, I think. The only thing Citi has there are some offices, but so do dozens of other businesses.
).

That's the Malecon Center. It's the Hilton Santo Domingo, two residential towers (both are the second tallest in the country) and second largest shopping mall in the country.

[LIVE] Ubisoft reaffirms Haze exclusivity talks recent delay
Haze is a few short delays away from Duke Nukem Forever status. While that's a rather large exaggeration, Haze, developed by Free Radical of Timesplitters fame, has been delayed more times than we care to remember.
Haze's project lead commented on the most recent delay to the 2008 fiscal year:
"It's not something we do lightly. Everyone at FRD and Ubisoft is more than aware of the fans on here and how patiently people have waited for the game and we would like nothing more to put out the finished game right now.
"But that's the thing of it - the game isn't finished. There's still some things we'd like to polish and refine, and while it may seem like we're ignoring you guys by delaying it, it's precisely *because* of you guys that the delay has happened - because we want to make sure the game is as good as it can be when you finally get your hands on it."
If there's something to take comfort in though, it's that according to VideoGamer.com, (link to http://www.videogamer.com/news/24-01-2008-7338.html) Haze remains an exclusive to the PS3.
"A Ubisoft rep has denied the game will be heading to any other platform, reaffirming that Haze remains a PlayStation 3 exclusive - when it will actually hit stores is still to be announced."I think PS3 should have a built in memory card!!!
