Are "Commodore Computers" Dead? Not Really!

    DEAD? Far From It!

So you thought "The Commodore Computer" was dead. Far from it with High End Gaming computers like this going on sale in the U.K. and elsewhere around Europe. Maybe a new beginning for the once prominent PC maker!

($) Just a little too expensive for us mere American Mortals ($)

It's not really a Commodore, some company bought the brand. I refuse to acknowledge a computer as a "Commodore" unless it has custom sound and graphic chips of its own! Long live SID and VIC!

No way I'd pay $3,500 to $5,000 for a PC. I could get a PS3 and an uber TV for that much.

You have to realise that the dollar is VERY weak, and that the British public earn an average wage which is much higher than that of most countries. To us Ģ1800 isn't too much at all, it's about the same price if you'll put together a high end PC yourself, and this comes with a complete changeable inside rig, and a painted case which for that price is extremely cheap.

They're showing the case with and without the paint for a side on comparison, it makes it a lot easier to see the difference.
