Post rankings don't count because what happens is a bunch of n00bs will start "circle-jerking" their ratings to Guru status and flush out anyone who isn't in their clique.

Post ratings are the spiraling death of a forum. All it takes is one n00b and the whole thing falls apart.

We (the admin) didn’t want to give away all the rank titles before people had achieved them, so that’s why we aren't keen on stickying threads of this nature. For those of you who think you have achieved nearly all the ranks already there are still a few more, even for Steroyd and a few other surprises to come, so don’t worry about the ranks drying up, we have some great ideas to spice up the ranks +5000 and +10,000 posts. I will discuss ‘stickying’ this topic with Rebon shortly.
