The best 5 dollar PSN title

I was just wondering what the best 5 dollar psn title is.

For $1 more I would get a ps1 download that is able to be played on the PS3


mainly because i think they have more play time

i dont think there is a $5 PSN title.. most are like $7.99 or up. the only inexpensive titles are the PSone titles for PSP/PS3

yeah guys, all the ports of old games like Gauntlet 2 and Mortal Combat are 5 bucks. All the new IPs made just for the psn are between 7 and 10 dollars. I would say Mortal Combat is the best 5 dollar game so far.

This is a little off topic but I was wondering if your able to connect to other players on the internet while playing Gauntlet II, if so i would get it.

you know I wasn't plan to buy any virtual consoles or arcade games because of PRICE, but after seeing PSN arcade and virtual consoles makes me wonder why is Wii virtual console games are like 8 bucks (like I mean PS1 game are like 4.99 but a 80s 8 bits nintendo games cost $8!!!) and same thing on XBLA game are really expensive too. Seriously maybe Nintendo and MS need to understand those old arcade games with new update aren't suppose be more than 5 dollars. That why I stick with Sony with virtual console and aracades and I will spent more because prices are cheaper.

I think I like Gauntlet more then MK only because I am an RPG nut an after playing PC games for so long I am really starting to LOVE!! PSN I can't wait till they add some old school MGS or FF.

It really depends on what kind of gamer you are. They don't really have much selection yet, so the answer will really depend on what kind of games you like. I like fighting, so I grabbed Mortalk Kombat II. I might get Gauntlet II some time in the future. I played it with my dad some back in the day, but it's really not my sort of thing anymore. Maybe if I have some spare money.

Usually Mortal Kombat II would be a safe bet. It's a more recent classic, and a name that still continues to this day...

Or you could always try Q*bert if you like old-school stuff.

i would say blast factor, might be a couple more bucks but its a fun game! well if you do drugs, then its a fun game \m/(-_-)\m/

sidenote: how can some of you like super rub a dub? i played the demo and was HORRIFIED! still cant sleep.
