PS3 will be released by christmas!

I have a source at a local walmart store that has confirmed a pallet of PS3 consoles in the store at this time. No information is known about the exact release date. You can also search walmarts site for PS3 and it will show the system. Walmart does not post product over 30 days out. This is for real. Early December is the word. Spread the word please.

You realy think Sony is gonna do what killed the sega Gen. and release befor anyone even knows its out. and walmart is the only place stating this get real wasnt Amazon putting up pages already for the ps3 and 360 like 3 months ago Oh wait i just recived my new PS3 in the mail gotta go play ... some peoples kids.!

I am serious they actually saw the system. I doubted it myself. So I went online to show the pictures and he confirmed it was indeed a ps3. My first concern was he was confused. Walmart apparently only has the black model.

but aside from the fact that no one has even seen anyone play the ps3 anywere. never mind final dev kits arent out yet and the RSX isnt done (that we know of)

Listen... I posted this knowing jackasses like you would not believe me. That is Ok just wait until the middle of next month and you will look like an ass. I thought you may want to know. I will not play childish games of he said she said. If you do not want to believe me fine. But all I know is a pallet of 150 ps3 consoles are sitting in walmarts throught the country. They are not on the tabs yet for release so I do not know the exact date. The 360 will release the day after thanksgiving. The PS3 has the same date tab but we were told not to set it for blitz. Say what you will the truth will come out

The fact that Wal-Mart.com has a PS3 page means nothing. They have had a PS3 page for months now.

those are just standard promo pics on the walmart site and it just says the standard stuff everyone else is saying "we will be selling this when it finally comes out".

when Amazon post a release date then I will believe or infact when I see the box on the shelf in a shop.

sony have said a provisional release date of Spring 2006 there is no way it can be earlier than that and if it is i'll wait until a updated version is brought as the first one will have so many faults it'll be useless.

i think your friend at walmart may have got confused could he have mistaken them for the slim line ps2.

This guy can't seriously believe an unfinished console with NO games even out of prototype/alpha stages yet is going to be released in December?
I'm sure he is mistaken, someone or something is in error here, he should check things properly before posting BS like this.

Dude, you REALLY need to learn how to read forums, and stop being so taken in, Sony would announce the release before anyone gets any official stock numbers in. Your wallmart "source" are starting to sound like some of my stupid friends who think that the 360 is powerfull enough to play ALL XBOX, XBOX360, PS1, PS2, PS3 AND NINTENDO games.....
