Anybody getting Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence at launch

i am going to use my socom 3 money to buy MGS 3 subsistence because i didn know this game was going to release on november 15, i thought it going to be in december.iam buying this game because of the online , it sounds amazing, iam buying it on next tuesday so anybody here going to buy it that i might be looking for in meta gear online?

i have question, is ps2 online worldwide because iam going to end up playing against crazy japanease mgs fans and they are crazy.

First off, MGS3 Subsistence isn't coming out until March 2006.

Second, I'm pretty sure they give you the choice to which server you play on, wether it be Japanese servers, US servers or European servers.

Yeh it must be sometime soon cause Hideo is talking about MGS3: Subsistence posters for stores in Japan in October 24th (which is past now, i know, but this was a faily old blog post i was reading cause it said some stuff on MGS3: Subsistence)

I might get this at launch, i'll see, i will get it at some point though...MGS3 ONLINE

It will come with 3 discs on it, all named as to say what they will be like...
Disc one - Play MGS3
Disc two - Extend MGS3
Disc three - Watch MGS3

This 3rd one is..confusing to say the least, he says its like a movie but remains a game...

Although its not coming for a long time, this game looks like the greatest compilation of MGS ever. The only thing that would make this complete is adding the first Metal Gear Solid game as an add on kinda like they did MG and MG2 Snake's Revenge. I never played this game because it was quite confusing for me to adapt to the control style of the old days on PS. But, its no big deal tho, I will most definately be getting the gamecube remake of the first MGS when I get a Revolution.

ya the first time i tried MGS was on ps2 mgs2, it was really hard to get used to the controls and the style of gaming but i learned, i just picked MGS2 for 12 $ 2 weeks ago.i was going to get snake eater but i relised that subsistence is coming.

What is "Disc three - Watch MGS3"? Is it where you can watch all the story from MGS3?

Thats exactly what it is, over three hours of the game's cinematic narative. It's incredible, I actually think I might pop that in first and watch it before I even start playing the online part

i think Hideo is going to do that with MGS4.

you've got to consider that MGS3, MG1 and 2 is Big Bosses trilogy not Solid snakes, so when they do a MGS4 sustanance (i don't know) it'll have MGS1 1, 2 and well of ourse the fourth one, to make a Solid Snake trilogy, just like how this one is Big Boss's trilogy.
