So it's "confirmed", and "really only semi confirmed", by a page that says in big bold type "The ship date and retail price have not been confirmed".

Places like EB have to overestimate on price and release date whenever possible. If somebody preorders this thing at $60, they can much more easily go "whoops, it's actually $50" than they can go the other way around. Before the DS came out every single game was being listed at $40, now the most of them come out at $30.
