--Resistance Server Update?--

Ok first of all.....it wont let you log onto the game?....
It says disconnected from network....

And when you try to view www.myresistance.net ........... it says the servers are down....

So discuss..........

Hopefully......-New Maps-Combination of PAL and Asian servers with American Servers.....

"As you all may have noticed, the Resistance servers are down currently. We here at Insomniac are working with Sony to resolve the issue as fast as possible. We will keep you updated as we progress is made."

Hmmmmmmmmm i think last night i shot to many people up and now i f'ed up the servers with my skillZ. lol

I dont know when were the servers spouse to join anyway.

Well it is late May, and Insomniac have stated the update would be late May.

-BUT-

I doubt Insomniac/Sony would shut down the servers now, the busiest time of the day! You would think, from a business standpoint they would do it at a later time.. Like 3:00 AM or something

This is a little off topic sorry. I had the same problem and also my ps3 seems slower becuase I down loaded game trailers and when i play them the pause and then play after 2 seconds. Also i was looking through my pictures and they seemed to switch slower even when i did it useing the controller. I think its ethier my hd or my ps3. My ps3 has a 4 year warrenty so i can get a new one.

I love Res, it is probably the best shooter in first person, i have to say that this game always has something fun. I hope this is an update because they are well worth it from this compnay.

It says on the myresistance.net forum that the update will include the map pack that you can buy from the PS store, so my guess is that the update won't be until Thursday when the PS store updates.

Some info I picked up from Insomniac:

Those who are hoping that the maps will be under $10 will not be disappointed.

Also, the maps are still scheduled for May, no matter what Destructoid says.

So close guys, just hang on a bit longer.

Well, if they are sticking with the end of May, and we assume that the map pack will be included on a standard store update day (Thursday), they have the 24th and the 31st. Too bad Thursday didn't fall in June so we could (almost) be guaranteed the maps this Thursday, lol.

well...... just so u no, i talked to one of insomniacs crew on resistance , he had an insomniac globe thing on his name, and was from the US ... called H-Bomb . He said he couldnt tell me . But this means they are testing it out, so there working on it guys.

^^ We know they are working on it ! The site was down because their DB crashed, didn't notice any problems getting into the game.... If it is gonna be may then they need to get a move on as its the 23/05 now !

Well i spoke to him again yesterday before he went to work, and he said it is up to sony to how much the maps will cost. Also my prediction is that it will come out tomorow, my reasons for this are that insomniac say last week of may... well all there updates have been fridays, so next friday is the 1st of June so it would have to be tomorow. Hopefully i am right.
