The errors have been pretty bad lately..

    On topic:

Seeing as how this shares the same parent architecture with the RSX, maybe there is some cool stuff happening with the RSX.. Man, it sure would be nice to hear whats going on over at Sony.

u meant wahts going on at vidia , right ?

Anyway, i sure hope if there is a 580Mhz Graphics card already out , then one of the surprises sony has to offer us should include an upgradation of the graphics card frm 500 Mhz to , well, any upscaling would do .

RSX is either equally powerful or more powerful. Here's wishin it'll be MORE powerful.
The only thing that separates an avid gamer from a hardcore gamer is the selection of gaming platforms. For the hardcore, there is no selection.

Enjoying the FULL HD experience with a 42'' 1080p Philips HDTV, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and a Yamaha 6.1 surround setup!

Could you imagine if they bump the RSX up to 600Mhz?

On top of that, it will be running GL ES which is a more efficient graphics model!

I sure wouldn't bet unified shader pipelines against a monster like that..

well this card might be more powerful but the ps3 is a closed system with a very powerful processor that can keep up with the GPU. This thing is a beast and i can't wait to get some benchmarks.

Well its bound to b more powerful if Nvidia or sony annouced that it'l b the most powerful card in the market when the PS3 is out ...
so if the 7800 is already out .... the RSX is bound 2 b a leap ahead !

Jeez, when the RSX is out isn't there meant to be a shorter timescale before there's another GPU like it

ah your talking about the alpha dev kits that has a dual 6800SLI setup, and that would have blew our head off if Nvidia didn't release the 7800GTX.

but it's set my head on nuclear knowing that whatever Nvidia are churning out for PC's right now, the RSX is even more powerful (with helps to it being specific for Cell).

    RIP X360
