Is Ninja Gaiden really going to be that good?

My first question is have you played the demo? I have only played Genji once and visual it looks decent but in my opinion what really seperates the two is the game play. Ninja Gaiden is much better in this area but don't take my word for it I suggest you download the demo and make your own opinion.

1st, the graphics are incredible some of the best on PS3 right now. 2nd, Genji too has incredible graphics. You can hardly complain about graphics with NGS.

I like this game, i always wanted to play it but i would never by a xbox for it. so i'm excited that it's coming to the PS3. i played the demo and i enjoyed every minute of it. i'm getting it the first day

god whats with all the NgS bashing at all? The game looks marvelous on a huge HDTV. And it plays MUCH better than genji, anyone who thinks this looks like a ps2 game and is boring needs a slap.

The graphics are far from "poor". They are in no way the best we are gonna see this year but it's a pretty nice looking game as far as I'm concerned, all this graphics talk is irrelevant anyway. If you have played the demo and you don't like the gameplay then you obviously don't like action games, end of story. The combat in this game is second to none. No, not even GoW can touch it imo. The camera is a bit dodgy in places but everything else is absolutely spot on.

It is blasphemous to mention Ninja Gaiden and Genji in the same sentence. Ninja Gaiden is one of the greatest action games ever made up there with God of War. They aren't comparable in any way.

I am gonna have to disagree with that. One the issues I do have with NGS difficulty is that it seems difficult because you can't, with any measure of success, take on more than one guy at a time and end up getting pot shots taken at you by 4 other guys. DMC and GOW you could hit multiple targets and it still managed to be just hard. Anyway that said I can't wait.

It might be visually impressive, it's not something I was blown away by.
And as for the game play, it's not my thing. Perhaps too difficult for me, but I had a hard time enjoying myself.
And not to mention how many times I opened the door to exit the room while I was battling some ninjas...

With all the positive previews this game received, I had high expectations, somehow I was disappointed... but perhaps it's just not my cup of tea.

Acutally you can take on more than 4 guys. Use the Dabi or the UF and see how much friggas you'll hit use the warhammer and see homw much you punk.
Use the Lunar and see how much you knock.
Use the DDB and see how much guardbreaks will be in your favor. Hell even the flails have good effect.

Did you play it on an old school SD black & white tv? Did you forget your glasses? J/K...playful fun, anyhow, I don't know what you're talking about. The graphics are wonderful and the game play is a lot of fun (and nothing like Genji)...anyhow, to each his own. I think it will be a lot of fun and I suppose we're each entitled to our own opinion...(even though mines the best)
