"June 14, 2007 - Perhaps you read our recent interview with Brian Bendis regarding the future of the Marvel Universe (it's located here if you haven't had a chance to see it). During our conversation about Skrulls, trust, Tony Stark, the Hood and Dr. Doom, Bendis mentioned that symbiotes would be returning to the Marvel Universe. In fact he told us that the arrival of these creatures is due to Doom himself!

We told Bendis that was nice, but we were so preoccupied with the Skrull invasion that we didn't dwell too much on Venom or symbiotes. Today Marvel Comics demonstrated what is in store for the Avengers when this "accident" occurs. Things aren't looking too pretty for Iron Man or his friends. In fact, Iron Man's head seems to be quite far from his arm (we can always hope Venom removed Stark's helmet to pose with it).

We're honestly not sure what is going on here given what has happened in Mighty Avengers thus far. First Iron Man transforms into some sort of female Ultron, and now this? A solicitation cover for issue #4 shows Ares fighting an army of Iron Men, and we've also seen a '60s era Iron Man arriving, proclaiming Tony Stark's death - which makes us wonder who is serving as Venom's trophy.

Who is responsible for this chaos? What's going on here?

Honestly? We're going to blame the Skrulls. Are you happy, Bendis? Now we're paranoid everything is happening because of some laser-shooting, bug-eyed, shape-shifting, green-skinned aliens!

Of course, we're blaming them mostly because we're really confused.

Venom is the top dog guys! Yes, this Venom fan is MOST pleased. Its about time that Jerk Stark got taught a lesson.

Its not the real one, marvel isnt going to kill ironman the same year they killed captain america unless they are pulling a DC comics thing again where both batman and superman died then come back near the end of the year, which in this case is whats most likely going to happen.

I just cant imagine how marvel expects to last without ironman and captain amercia since without them basicly all you got is spiderman and several newer comic series.

Yea but none of them have anything going on at the moment... which means not many people are interested. They would probably need to pick up a new writer and grab publicity for them first before they would kill off Ironman. Im just saying this from if i was writing it point of view, you could be completely right though.

Also your list hulk sucks arse lol he is so boring to watch and read, and he is also part of the avengers so he is near death if they died. "Ug im angry must destroy things"

Im a huge fan of venom as well, absolutely just read my comic posts. But he doesnt have his own line of comics right now, no one is really writing a series for venom. He just appears in other comics like spiderman and such all the time thats why he is so popular.

As for Marvel i know they have crap loads, i go to the store everyday, but you also got to look at what DC is doing. Week in and week out DC has something new and interesting on shelves rather it be batman, superman, to the whole justice league. Marvel needs to do the same and killing off their most popular charecters will not be good, along with that i know alot of people are not happy with either civil war or the balck suit in spiderman. Civil war was freaking awsome though in my opinion. Once again though thats just if i were writing, and if you cant tell im not a writer just yet so i could be completely wrong.

My guess venom was a duplicate, avengers are not really dead, but are injured and need help and guess who it is, the real venom.

As for Ironman, im a big fan of him lol sorry man.

I know Spiderman is "The good guy" but in all reality Venom should never lose to him. I mean one look at Venom and his powers and you look at a guy who can shoot web, and has increased strength\stamina...in a red suit.... you think..and you, Mr.Alien Goo monster thats so ripped...loses to.him?

I've always thought that The Punisher was like a cooler, more realistic version of Batman.

I mean they both lack super powers and rely on personal know how and skill along with "Utilities" *Cough*.

The punisher is not like Batman in his sense of Justice. He doesn't just lock them up' in an aslyum and wait for them to break back out and kill more innocents.

He frags them and they never come back. See, I've always thought Batman was a wuss because he didn't do this. "The Darknight" you'd think he'd be a bit more dark and just in his judgement.

Its because super heroes are not supposed to do that and the punisher is considered a villian in most cases because of his actions. I think he even almost killed spidey lol, almost every MArvel person has preaty much killed spider.

Anyways i dont know why they dont create a new villian and just have batman kill him because we all know he would.

actually the Punisher, like Spawn, is an anti-hero or dark hero. The "Boy Scouts" of the hero universe don't take to them too kindly.

Well that'd grate against Batman's moral code.

What i find funny about this whole thing is the one time Iron man faces a tough bad guy and he gets owned completely. None of his other villians are really that bad compared to Venom and most other villians then all of a sudden venom shows up and ironman dies.
