Found a band that's called "Machinae Supremacy"! Combines metal with progressive lines AND tunes from old games (mostly C64)! It's absolutely awesome, check it out:

You'll find most of their production for free from that site! Take a good listen to at least "The great gianna sisters" and "Theme from Jets N Guns". Now who told you that C64/NES fans are wussies?

I like bands like Slayer, Deicide, Nuclear Assault, Pantera, Method of Destruction, Stormtroopers of Death, DRI, Anthrax, Motorhead, Venom. Now thats metal.
