As a magic fan that sounds awesome but i know we would have to give up so much for him but I still hope something MIGHT happen

Grant Hill is a free agent, can't trade him. The next best player behind Howard (who they won't trade) is Jameer Nelson...and he's not worth much at all. There expensive players are Hedo Turkoglu and Tony Battie who both suck terribly. And, they don't have a great draft pick.

Seriously, someone explain to me how this would even possibly happen...otherwise its just a dumb rumor.

Not necesarily, if Kobe wants out then the opposing team may not have to give up so much. Well maybe due to money issues and kobe being a ball hog, but other than that your good. If he wants out he going to get out thats all there is to it.

To me this is just to gain attention and get eyes on him then the season comes around and he is signing a contract extension.

Well in that case, Kobe won't be on the magic. Magic would be retards to give up Howard. As soon as he develops any offensive game besides dunking, he's gonna be nasty.

Seriously guys, why would Kobe go to a team worse off than his current team...that's the reason he wants out of LA! No Grant Hill, a horrible bench, and a team that gets half the attendance the Lakers get. They barely made the playoffs in the Eastern Conference...come on now.
