First review of The Darkness

The magazine Gamereactor has a review of The Darkness, I haven't scanned it though since I don't see any reason to, there are no new pics in it, and it's on Danish.

But here's a little sumary of what they wrote:

Pro's:
Nice environments
Good puzzles
Great story

Con's:
Badly animated faces
A bit too slow

The only thing they write about the multi-player is that you can choose from playing it as an FPS or rely more on your Darkness powers. And that makes it feel different, they didn't write if they liked it or not.

They gave it an 8/10

well i guess some people might like it but to me it was one of the weakest aspects of that game, way generic and uninteresting. there were a lot of other good things about it that saved it tho.

Still, you should be careful with your wording. There are some people on this forum only too willing to turn one sentence into a multi-paged argument. And I liked the storyline of the Dark Brotherhood.

Can't be as bad as Spider-Man 3 or Genji.

He directly says it's too slow, while the dialogues are really well written they can sometimes be a bit (sluggish, slack, inert, slow. Don't really know wich word is the right to use, I had to look it up in a dictionary) And Jackie also moves a little too slow so the fights doesn't have the same "feeling" like in the comics.
But he said that was really the only negative thing about the game.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy it next week, it would have been nice if there was a demo of it, but I'm just gona hope I like it.
