Graphics

The graphics of Madden 360 are good compared to the PS2 version, but it is EA. It is pretty cool how the helmets reflect light and shine. 2K would have definitely did better with the graphics.

It did not really feel like Madden. It is missing many of the fun modes that we come to enjoy year after year. There are no challenges, no specific defensive hot routes.

Where's Madden?

There is no Madden in this game, it is some guy who does not mention his name, and he does not talk during gameplay.

I recommend getting the Xbox version of Madden if you want to play it on your Xbox 360.

uhm... yeahh...? lol. you're comparing the 360 with the ps2. its like comparing the playstation to atari and saying games on the ps has better graphics.

the graphics are nice. but... a lot of people were pretty shocked in a bad way. that's not the graphics that people expected.

and yeah what happened to the gameplay? was EA rushed? i think so.

I compared the graphics to what EA did on the PS2, I am sure the Xbox 360 is capable of far better graphics. The graphics are comparable to ESPN Football 2K5 on the PS2

I wrote this in another thread.....

If you have played Madden 06 on the xbox360 you should see that they have taken everything out of it that EA has built it up to be. There is only quick match, franchise, and online. They took out create a playbook, player, and team. They also took out Mini-Camp and Superstar which was realsed in MAdden 06 on the regular consoles.

I like the new character moles and the new controls. I dont like the Vision Passing though. I miss all the extra features and I am really disappointed with that. I like the fact they improved online. I like how you can go for it on 4th. down and stuff.

OVERALL: 6.5/10

6.5 is an incredible tough review, i agree that they cut some things out, but for me (who hates football games with a passion) i actually enjoyed this game and i love the new graphics, the only gripe i have is that the framerat drops when your playing online

I was a big fan of Madden and i even defended EA for getting the NFL video game rights locked up. But after waiting for the Xbox360 to come out(Got it the first day it came out and didn't even have to wait in any line

) and playing this mess of a game, that the this game could be the worst game to be release ever for the Xbox360. Games like this need to be stop from getting out before they destroy everything.

I totally agree with you Butcher. I was anticipated more content and better gameplay for the 360 version of Madden06 and all I got was a half removed 300 points for intentionally bypassing our cursing filter... again... next time is a temp ban- siren version of current gen Madden with up'd graphics.

i played the 360 verison of madden at EB WORLD WITH the lcd tv.
and the grapchis are sweet.
they blow away both the PS2 and xbox 1 verison in the graochis dept.
it was like wacthing a real game lol

Yeah the graphics are nice but the cut all the good stuff out of the game and the new presentation camera sucks.

OR maybe the guy never played Madden 06 on the old Xbox or PS2. Madden 06 is just the worst game for the Xbox 360 out and will be the worst game in the end

I was only able to play the demo of the game at a local gaming shop and did not get a chance to check out the other features of the game. I thank you guys for telling me exactly what this game is like and I therefore will not purchase it when I get my xbox 360. Its to bad too, from the demo it really looked promising. Oh well.

Madden usually always a good game that comes out every year. So lets see how well EA flagship game stands up.

Thats right people right off the bat i give a it 0. The reason behind it is simple. Where are the features

The whole reason why people even get an Madden game every year is because of the new features EA adds every year. But the 360 gets nothing the PS2 or the original Xbox gets.

What can i say EA showed us all these great clips on how 06 looks like and than bang they pull the biggest bait and switch know to man

Value 20/100
It is for the moment the only football game out for the 360 and i am willing to bet that you will find used ones that pissed off gamers are trying to sell.

What happen to John Madden? It is his name that made this franchise so why not have him still in it.
