Whoa...Needs a lot of anti-aliasing(AA) IMO
Too jaggy as of right now, but I'm sure they'll work on tweaking this towards the end of the developement cycle!

This game, along with Army of Two got great potential! Especially with Online Co-op...sounds kick ass!

This game looks pretty good, at first I only saw the original screen, and i was disappointed, but once all the screens were up, it actually began looking pretty good.

for this type of game, i think gameplay is more important, one game that impress me are crackdown, even with sandbox style crackdown give Anti aliasing, no slowdown and good gameplay.

on mercenaries 2 i believe it will have good gameplay, and still have
time to improve.

for this type of game, i think gameplay is more important, one game that impress me are crackdown, even with sandbox style crackdown give Anti aliasing, no slowdown and good gameplay.

on mercenaries 2 i believe it will have good gameplay, and still have

Crackdown does so have slowdown especially when you start blowing up a helluva lot of things at once. SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! This game has suffered from bad jaggies for a while and they don't seem to get any better. It does look much better in motion though that video over at IGN made me excited for it again.

For a game like this? Those level of jaggies aren't acceptable period lol. Like I said it looks better in motion but don't forget this is next gen PS3 and 360. These systems have horse power so big open games should not suffer from having lesser visuals than the rest of the pack, at least not to this level.

what version of crackdown have you been playing?! during the explosions, well at least when i play it, the framerate stays at a smooth level. no slow downs at all. its one of the first things i noticed when playing it.

anyway, screens arent looking too hot BUT i dont care muh for graphics on this game as i know the gameplay will be awesome.

It all depends on what resolution your playing on. For example, Gears of War has a horrible frame rate in cut scenes when playing in 1080i, but it runs smooth when playing in 480i.

If your playing on a SDTV, games will run more smoothly.
