New heat sink question(s)

So I know some of you are waiting on Microsoft to return your 360's from the repair shop, as am I. With that said, does anyone have an idea of what to look for without opening up the console and voiding the warranty? Do you think the new heat sink will even be visible if using a flashlight or something like that?

You may be able to tell by looking through the vents of the Xbox 360 with the hard drive off. It will most likely need to be opened to see the changes though.

yes, there was a way of using a flashlight into the back of it and looking for something... will see if i can find it

yea there is a way. i read it on the xbox.com forums. you just have to look through the non-hard drive side with a light of some sort.
