One thing i have to say. If this game releases at the same time as Brothers In Arms3 it will still majority of the sales. BIA3 needs to be moved up a couple of months its basically a finished game on the 360.

I dunno, as much as I'm glad they've moved away from the WW2 genre, I still cant help but look at it as another run of the mill FPS. And also I'm sorry but that last pic just cries out for a cover system.

I know COD fans will hate me as it's supposed to be a fast paced run and gun game, but there needs to be some new innovation in the gameplay. Like in the new BIA.

The first two games had pretty run-of-the-mill gameplay but the intensity and cinematic single player set them apart. This one seems to have a decent story too.

Then I would strongly recommend Call of Duty 2, it's pretty cheap these days and is way better than 3. CoD4 will definitely not be tactical, I think one of the developers said that straight up in one of the interview videos from a few weeks ago.

Watch the gameplay videos of COD4 and you can instantly see that the game is far from tactical..

I've seen some of the vids, the one where's there's the gun fight in the dark and all the gun lasers are shining everywhere, which looked class I must admit.

Still, for example look at the 2nd pic. Looks like you're ambusing a terrorist held ship. (strikingly similar to the last mission on SOCOM2) I just cant see how running around the narrow corridors of the ship Rambo-style would work, when you're with a small special attack team. I dunno, it just seems like it'll feel somewhat odd.

I'll wait and see though.

And I must check out COD2 Aleman if I can get it on the cheap, I'm in need for a new good MP game.

EDIT: The first time I played COD3 it was pretty fun. Incredibly tense the first time through, but second time playing it it got so boring. And I can never join any MP games, always get "cant connect" messages. The only highlight of the game is that scene where you tussle with the guy for the knife. If you win, you throw him through the window and he blows up from the grenade, but if you lose he jabs the knife slowly into your chest. It's like the scene from Saving Private Ryan at the end when the Nazi slowly inserts the knife into the guys chest. Very cool. That was it though.

Well of course, Killzone 2 isn't being released on 360. Call of Duty 4 proves the 360 can do close to that CG trailer, but we haven't seen this OR ingame Killzone on the Ps3, so that's why it's being doubted.
