Prey Xbox 360 Trailer (Xbox 360)
-
11-30-2005 #2
i was really looking forward to prey, but no longer on the x360, because it's powered by the doom3-engine and quake4 has been reported to have framerate slowdowns with the very same engine.
When it comes to porting Final Fantasy XIII to Xbox 360, Square's of the opinion that it's not the size of the disc that matters; it's how you use it.

I've had the PC trailer for a while for this game and it looks awesome on the PC. If the 360 version looks just as good then all it needs is decent gameplay and it is a winner.

Who is making this game? I hope it comes to the PS3, it looks awesome. One of the few games I have seen that I think really uses the unique advantages of next-gen technology.

it would cost less to buy a 260 far less than to upgrade your pc to optimal + to get the full efects of the game.

Xbox1 comparsion is only an example. Consoles do not run automatically at "full detail".

11-30-2005 #8sorry I have really powerful computer no need to upgrade, I been play Doom 3, Quake 4, and CoD2 so well that I dont care about 360. Beside they didnt set up full setting and effects on 360. So basically paying 60 bucks for a minor setting game? No paying full setting game on PC? yes

Why are people comparing Consoles to PC's. I just don't get it Consoles are a lot cheaper than a high performance gaming rig, but the graphics of consoles games (e.x. xbox360) closely resembles that of the highest performing Gaming rig on the market today. But yet the xbox 360 cost so much less.
IF you want a High performance gaming rig you most be ready to shell out more than $1500 and sometimes that price does not even included a monitor so you will tac on another $300-$400 dollars to get a LCD monitor. So you be looking at over $2000 plus for a high end gaming PC.
All we need to play the next generation Consoles is the console itself and a HDTV. The most you spend on a good HDTV is about $1000-$1200. A Samsung LCD HDTV that will be the best for playing the next generation Consoles is about $1000 plus tax. So the most we will be spending will be about $1500 (excluding the games) to really enjoy the next generation of gaming Consoles. And that will last us about 5-10 years, before we have to buy the next generation of consoles again.
So anyways Consoles are a lot cheaper than the best performance gaming rig on the market today and the graphics are almost identical. So in the End we are the ones winning anyways. We payless and get identical performance to that of the highest gaming rig. It does not get better than that people.
And Plus PS3 will out perform the best highest performing gaming rigs on the market today and plus is gonna be cheaper. Live is GOOD.
So you PC Fans keep comparing the graphics to each other we like it when you do.

FPS are Fun to play, but i understand that you are fed up with it EZweasel but you don't have to buy those kind of games. There are a lot of other games that you can buy that are not FPS. Example Final Fantasy.

I guess they just all seem the same to me now days..although as far as final fantasy goes i am looking foward to that final fantasy shooter based off FF7..That should be pretty neat.

Graphics look like a rehash of Quake 4, FEAR for PC looks twice as good.
