Ok, well, submit your nominations for Post of the Month here. My idea was that the Mods/SMC could choose the top 10 nominations. Then the entire forums can vote on those 10.

The person that submitted the winning nomination will receive 1,000 SP, and the person that made the winning post will receive 2,000 SP.

To Mods and Admin: No one replied to my request to do this in the PotM section, so if you guys object or anything, just tell me. I figured it was about time to actually start this again.

I posted this earlier today, sorry if we aren't allowed to nominate ourselves.

Time for Bluray to get allupindis' thread!

First of all, I was blown away by Sony's unbelievable showing at this years E3. I saw my two favorite games in Killzone and MGS4 - which was enough to make me buy the system alone - but then I saw another game that I absolutely just had to have - Heavenly Sword. I was so impressed by the overall presentation/demonstration on the gameplay, I determinded that Heavenly Sword would be the first game I buy for the PS3. Now, I have to find a job at the local movie theatre to make up enough money to buy a PS3 with Heavenly Sword, but it's worth the time and money in my opinion - which brings me to my next point.

The Playstation 3 has so many games releasing in the near future, that I actually determind that I have a snowballs chance in hell of buying every game I wanted. My entire list would be: Killzone2, Metal Gear Solid 4, The New R&C, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Lair, Uncharted, and the next Final Fantasy Games. Not to mention Multiplatformed games and/or other Major games that I might have forgoten from that list.

Now, remember in my last paragraph, how I explained that I had " a snowballs chance in hell of buying every game I wanted" for the PS3? I can't say the same for the Xbox 360.... Sure, theres Halo 3, Bioshock (which isn't even an exclusive), and Mass Effect, and other little games sprinkled in between, but are there anyother games for that other system that'll make me want to steal someones cookie? NO. And thers no way in hell I'll EVER get a Nintendo Wii.

I've been a Playstation fan since I was 6 years old (which is almost an entire Decade in my case), and Sony has done a good job of keeping it that way. Sure, I could go out and get the cheaper systems, but it won't have the same effect as the Playstation branded systems..... I'm not trying to come off as a "Fanboy", Im just happy to be a Playstation supporter and fan right now. And with Sony making an effort to make the system more affordable, things can only get better for me and Playstation fans everywhere....

pxg_s3 creeated this thread and his first post is a very sound analysis (and personal opinion) on the state of the ps3 and the 360. its not as others say an anti 360 rant its a gamers view on the pros and cons of the two machines
