Yes if your going to buy things, example: Ebay. Most people require the money be sent through paypal so its fast and secure. Great thing to get. It doesn't cost anything to get.

Pay pal is as safe as putting you money into a security van and takeing it to the other guy (apart from that would take a few days), its fast, secure and relyable for paying for things over the net, always use pay pal...

I trust PayPal, as it was created by eBay. It's very secure, and is the fastest way to buy things on eBay. There are also other companies that implement PayPal transactions on their webpage. So it's always good to have, just in case. Now they have a PayPal debit card that you can use like any other debit card, when you have money in your account. I think it's rather convenient when you have hundreds of dollars with PayPal, so you don't have to keep transferring money from one account to the next when you need the cash.

I agree with that 100%. You need to check and see if the person you're considering buying something from has mostly positive feeback. There's a lot of sneaky people out there just waiting to take your money. There was a guy on TV recently that kept repeatedly selling some sports jerseys, but he wasn't sending them to anyone, just taking their money. I think he almost made $100,000, but he was eventually arrested. Sucks for him, I guess.

Well, thank for your replies. Anyway, I did some researching on it, there's some fees for non-USians as opposing to free stuff and I'm not looking for Ebay stuff, I'm trying to buy stuff from Megagear and some computer software like SnatchIt, and maybe set up my own cute website. Would I need personal or premier account for that?

Im pretty sure a personal account would do, however don't trust anything here without verifying it with the official PayPal website first.

Sony: Production to begin in September

It's seems that Sony is finally willing to offer more details on the PlayStation 3's production, and has announced that assembly of the console will begin at the end of this month. This is the first official release concerning production, since Sony President Kaz Hirai said that production of the PlayStation 3 had yet to begin last month.

According to the gamedaily.com article, Sony again reaffirmed its decision to ship a total of 6 million PlayStation 3s worldwide by next Mach, even though the company will not be meeting its goal of 4 million units by the end of this year.

In addition to launch plans, Sony also announced that more details of its online plans will be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show this year, which is held from September the 22nd to the 24th. Sony seem to be putting more weight on online play this generation, and has previously promised gamers free online play.

The PlayStation 3 will launch on November 11th in Japan and November 17th in North America.
