Dunno why but I suddenly have an urge to talk about ghosts, hauntings, strange sightings...just the paranormal in general.
Anyone have any stories to share? Some discussion would be nice too.

I think it's pretty possible theres supernatural beings and things of that nature, it really interests me, I just don't like how you get this stupid actors like the people in 'Most Haunted' even though alot of that is genuine.

No scary stories to share friends?
-

I don't have a scary story. But my friend has a ghost story. But it's not that scary. Her brother committed suicide when she was young. And now, her family always hears him. She was sleeping and she saw him standing by the doorway. She put the blanket over her head and said go away. Then it disappeared. But there have been times where the door closed or opened by itself. There are always footsteps at night as if someone is going up the stairs and the floor is creaky. And she told me her dad was feeling sick one day and he saw the ghost go by him and hug him. He said it felt weird. Just my 2 cents.

I woke up to believe in the watery whisky ghost of the woven wind whistler from the wild, wild west.

Ahhh, ghosts. Gotta love em. I have countless stories to tell people, but i never bother. I show them instead (really, its not that hard to get them on tape, or if your lucky, to talk or interact... the only hard part is location). They are part of the reason of my screen name...
Ok, heres one for you (I wasnt going to, but it was funny in a serious way). I build friendly like 'relationships' with spirits and im very open with telling people this. Well, needless to say, most people dont like to believe me. I dont stress it, instead, i let them do the work.
So one day my sister was over and we were just chatting... well, at that time I had 3 constant visiters. A young child (was usually quiet but spoke the most), an older man (sometimes he appeared as static, but was always coughing), and some weird guy that claimed he was killed and wanted to find his surviving girlfriend (he was the one that interacted though moving things). All that said, heres what happened back to where I started...
Were sitting and talking, her 1st born sleeping in my room (near the room we were in) and she started to hear the coughing I always told her about. I laughed, told her 'see'...but she didnt think it was funny... esp when she realized its in the room with her child. She started to panic (tears in her eyes) and wasnt listening to me telling her its ok. As she got up to check on him, a bag popped off of the nearby counter (in the other room) and the laundry dryer door popped open (mind you, its a pain in the a** to open). Well, at this point, she did start crying, i went in the room, she followed, and all was ay-oh-kay. She never second guesses me anymore (she appologized for not believeing me). Most of all my friends went through something similar.
Theres a funny one (though this one is purely funny) with the coughing... but you all must think im insane already, haha. So thats for another time, if anyone really cares.

I don't really know what to call or think of my experience I was only 14 or 15 at the time and I live in Michigan where the Northern Lights are so I thought what I seen what the Northern Lights until I actually seen the Northern Lights and I realized that you can't see them from my city.
I went out into my hot tub at about 3 in the morning *it was summer time* So I looked up into the sky and I noticed that there were pillars of what I called spirits at the time funneling into a giant swirling vortex looking thing. I mean I don't know what it actually was but that's how i'd describe it. I sat out there for an hour just watching it and it never stopped I even woke up my brother and asked him to come look and it and he was baffled. There was no color at all it was as pure white as can be and it was a very moonlit night there were no clouds. It looked like stringy white things in about 6 or 7 pillars gathering into a swirling vortex that was sucking them in and the vortex got bigger over time.
I had never done any drugs at that age so I was definitely in a clear state of mind. And this is the only thing thats happened in my life that i'd call a supernatural experience. I know what I seen wasn't clouds it was different you could actually see whatever it was flowing . If you've ever seen Donnie Darko it was almost like that vortex gathering in the sky that sucked the plane in.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lol. Made me laugh. I wouldnt say friends, but an understanding. Boundries. Contrary to popular belief, they arent attracted by anything other than our ability to notice them. I use a standard method to initalize conversation (tapping on doors, windows, walls... but i encourage talking).
As for talking goes... i just talk. Its dependant upon how 'energetic' the ghost is when it comes to them talking back. Not all can do it loud enough to hear. Like the coughing, the guy died from black lung (from coal mining) and it was a standard... but he only spoke once and it was not clear at all (sounded like he was choking, or *no offence* of a slow mentality because the words were mumbled...another funny one ill tell you about). Like I said, I can go on and on, so ill just tell the the other one. lol
My good friend Jasmine and I were talking. She was aware of all of them and, as most of my friends, had some experiance with them (but shes never ceases to be terrified). Well, we were discussing very personal and private issues. She stopped and looked confused, so I asked her whats up. I didnt hear anything (i was into the computer), but she heard coughing in my moms room. Thinking my mom was home, she was freaked about the thought of her hearing the conversation. I tried telling her she wasnt home, but she wouldnt believe me. I had to show her the house was empty and my moms door locked (i was always stealing her cigarettes then, lol). Then she got scared and begged me to leave with her. Haha. Me being the nice guy I am did...
About the only time the older guy talked... I was with this chick Brandy and we were laying on the couch cuddlin and talkin with the tv all the way down. I was into her talking, and next thing I knew, she was on top of me grabbing the remote for the tv... then my head cought up with what was happening. I thought I was hearing the tv, but when I saw it was all the way down and still there was talking, I realized it was in my room... She turned it up to where we could hear it and hid under me. He kept talking (mumbling) for a good minute (its usually only a couple seconds). When she found her voice, she asked me to turn on the light. I refused, explained what happened and tried to assure her its ok. She actually threatened that if i didnt turn it on she was going to walk home (a long walk at that). So I turned on the christmas tree lights (they wernt that bright). I guess I find it funny with how people react. She spent the rest of that night with wide eyes...lol.

Nothing, I guess thats why i think its so funny. Threatening me over that...lol. Like it would do anything. I offered to go in the room and show her nothing will eat me (i just didnt want the lights on), but i honestly think she was thinking that id die or something if i went in.

LOL....that's weird. How can you live in a house like that? I mean you don't have the privacy. Imagine taking a shower and you hear the ghosts next to you. Or when you're sleeping. I would freak out.

I saw a ghost once. But, it could be explained by other situations at the time (like the level of intoxication). But..
If any one would see some bad spirits I think it would be my friend who just bought a house where the mother tortured her mentally handicapped son by keeping him locked in a room for 24 hours at a time. She took it as far to have a bathroom installed in the unfinished basement
so she wouldn't hear the crying and screaming of her child. The woman was the last owner, and has since died. Her son died within the last decade. I couldn't possibly imagine any good spirits living in that house.
Of course my friend didn't care, because he got a hell of a deal on the house. It would be funny if he started waking up to **** though.
btw. I am drunk.. way more drunk then I should be for a $20 tab.

Jut what ever you do....DO NOT.....I repeat DO NOT, turn on the water cuz u might not wake up anymore.....never. And keep a broom next to you just in case a ghost or bigfoot turns on the water. Good luck to you man![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Haha. That was funny (as i was typing my second post here, i hearing tapping on the window behind me, so it was befitting...though i did look).
As for living like I do, i dont think id want it any other way... its how my whole life has been. I think id feel extremely lonely when im home without them. But it does help with that 'understanding' i said about. Part of it is to respect me as i respect them.
Ok, one more funny story (though i wasnt there for this one)... this is the last one because the rest arent very funny. My friends came to me telling me how they came over, knocking on the door for me. Well, im sure they were laughing when i knocked back... but not laughing when they came in and saw that noone was home. I was laughing my a** off when they told me that. I never locked my door then (not anymore, this area got really bad).

I rarely drink, but I can see how some people can benifit from a small buzz (when wanting to experiance ghosts, it opens people up sometimes). But drunk, nah.
That is a terrible story. Ive dealt with handicapped ghosts before (kind of). Look up the place Pennhurst PA. Its an old mental hospital thats f***in huge. Those spirits were strange, like they were afraid of us and stayed very far away (just by how it felt). I can see the logic in that, but its not what i was expecting (i too thought they might be *********y because they were abused and forgotten as well (some kept in wire cages...those rooms made me angry and had a bad feeling to them). But generally, these people have great souls and wouldnt want to hurt anyone. If your friend pays close enough attention i do think he might notice strange happenings in his basement... Its the mother he needs to worry about (and she needs to worry about me cause i dont like people like that).
