New Rumble Roses XX Images...[no 56k]

This game actually looks pretty good. Animations need some work though.

Haha, nothing like high definition.... erm..... cleavage! Jeez, this game is almost coming off as pornography, especially that last shot! I think you should put a warning tag on this one. Sure, it isn't anything explicit, but it sure is darn close to it.

I dunno lol, looks fine to me. On the Xbox fanboy forums they keep saying this game looks like ass and how Konami sucks.

They must be incredibly upset at the level of visuals of DOA4 and Kameo and every other Xbox360 launch title then.

Looks really good to me, although like DOA volleyball it's nothing I would ever buy.

Characters look very detailed. That's a good sign. I wonder what they're gonna do about the eyes. With this much detail, the eyes ought to be looking into the other persons ... and vice versa. Now it's kinda like Epics new game, the character is super detailed but the eyes don't portray any life at all. Baah, I'm sure devs are working day night to fix that. If not so what, both games character look amazingly detailed! Nice physics !

The characters are deatailed? That would be the last word i'd describe that...The enviorment and the clothing is detailed, even the hair, but the characters themselves arn't detailed at all. They look like barbies to put it blatantly...

This is next gen? damn... also, the blurring needs help. I don't know what you call it in video games.. but look at this picture..

The blur on the downed character looks horrible.

Baah, I'd take barbies over old hags on a broomstick with moles/wrinkles any time of day for a game that's about chick wrestling. No offense but take it easy with the bashing.

The characters look fine detailed as they are. You got to think of the developer too, which are a relatively small team inside Konami when compared to their other divisions. Coming from them, it looks good for a first-gen title for Xbox360. If there is any game that will sell quite well in Japan, it's this one for sure

Yeah, it's called focus. A little trick that videogames are using now to mimick movies/TV broadcasts. The trick actually looks really good when playing, but not always so good in still pictures. I also still think these models look great! We can't be expecting videogames to look life-like just yet, that won't be for a couple years. However these girls look close enough, for instance the blonde in the top picture looks just like Heather Locklear ...not bad!

this is pathetic, Xbox 360 might as well be an adult console meaning 18+.

looks like DOA has some competition.

Wow, its DOA distilled down to its essence...

Get rid of the male characters entirely, make the costumes skimpier, the main assets bouncier, make the focus tighter...

How much you wanna bet there's a whole collection of unlockable costumes that are even skimpier.

I can see the ad already, another version of the DOA3 ads for xbox1...two sad pimply faced geeks in their basement getting all hot and bothered about how they could pose the female fighters for best effect.

    *Sarcasm Mode On*

Wow, can't wait. What a game. And so next gen.

    *Sarcasm Mode Off*

Wrestling games have always baffled me. Most of them defy logic in that they sell at all. This one I can at least see why it'll sell, and its not the game play. But take a better look, if that's indicative of the final product. Faces that are plastic with one expression. Character models maybe 50% better than DOA3, and slightly more realistic than DOA4. Crummy audiences and stages. That shot with Evil Rose is ugly as heck.

Any game that has a camera blur because it gets too close to a characters butt is not aiming for high marks on game play. Next you'll try tell me DOA3: Extreme Volleyball was actually about playing volleyball.

Perhaps it looks better in motion, I certainly hope so cause it looks pretty bad static.

    Guess I'm just hater.

This looks like a decent game, graphics wise. I just cannot help but think that the majority of people buying this are going to be undersexed teenage boys or middle aged virgins who are going to pause the game when they make a female character with a short skirt kick, just to get a shot of her panties

The texture effects look really nice, which should give rubber/latex fetishists an impetus to go out and buy this game.

lol that looks like doa3 with better lighting and improved textures. Looks pretty much the same.

plus rumble roses sucks. The gameplay sucks. I played it once and i prob wont again. I guess you can play it for kicks when ur friends are over and you can argue about which chick is hotter, but meh... Barely worth "downloading" the game. Def not worth buying....

Unless of course, they change all the gameplay mechanics, which i doubt they would. MS just slapped this one on their list so they can "aim at the japanese audience"

Re: [LIVE]Hirai: Third parties initially "confused" by PS3

It's no secret that the majority of third party PS3 games haven't been up to par with Sony's first party offerings. From minor things like the framerate in Madden to major game differences like the vastly inferior port of Blacksite: Area 51, third parties just weren't putting effort into their PS3 titles in the past. Kaz Hirai addressed this issue when speaking to MCV at PlayStation Day in London.

“I think there was some confusion as to what PS3 was initially – some of the third parties didn’t understand and they wanted to scale back a little and see how things went before they really put in their resources,” commented Hirai. “But when I re-positioned the PS3 as a video games console at Tokyo Game Show I think everybody got that message loud and clear.”

Things do look a bit brighter for multiplatform PS3 titles in the future as more and more studios are implementing the PS3 as their lead platform. Titles like Burnout Paradise and GTA IV have lead the way for the multiplatform titles of the future.
