Design Squad Recruitment Drive - Appointees Selected

Good day to you all!

Recently, I PM'ed Morpheus about a forthcoming Design Squad recruitment drive which we desperately need (judging from the lack of activity in the request a signature and SOTW threads).

Over the next fortnight, I'm going to be on the lookout for members who contribute to the Design Corner a lot, as well as past contributions.

It's important that whoever applies to be a DS member is a regular to this forum as it would be pointless for us to have this recruitment drive. Being a Design Squad member isn't just for a sparkling purple username, you know!

For anybody who does want to become part of the Design Squad, help out a little in this section and post some of your best work in this thread. If Morpheus approves of my new appointee(s), expect to have a purple name in two week's time!

Existing Design Squad members can suggest two names they'd most like to see appointed as DS members by sending me a private message.

I'm wanting to be considered for this. I am fairly new in terms of the forum but in a short time I have become a very active member and a regular in the design corner. I fulfil a lot of sig/avatar requests, including personal requests (you'll see 'sig by ajrobin' quite a lot around here). I also enter a lot of the sig contests if not all of them, am a regular entrant into the sotw and have competed in a number of sig battles.

I admit I'm still learning photoshop but my style and ability have come on a lot in the past 3/4 months and will hopefully continue to improve.

M_S usually does the dirty work around here but guys like ps3945 leaving, there are like 2 or 3 who makes requested sigs like AJ... and some other non-DS guys...

I like Fatals B's style, but it's a tad too sharp... But you'd fit nicely in the DS

Remember, the contest isnt purely based on designing abilities, its based on involvement in the design corner as well as designing abilities!

PS: Just a suggestion, but imo, there should be a sig contest(no pre-mades) for ultimate fairness in the contest.

Those are nice signatures, Fatal. I have seen them before in a thread you've posted in.

I wouldn't want to turn this into a competition because it shouldn't be one. We're recruiting new members on the basis of their overall contribution to the Design Squad, not just a competition held over a few days.

Id like to be considered too even tho i havent been on here ling i have loved every minute on here i would love to give something back. I have been making gfx a long time, im a mod on a lot of GFX websites and i think i can make some fairly good stuff. You can find most of my gfx here on my DevArt Linky

The recruitment process is spread out over two weeks, starting yesterday. At the end of the fourteen days, I shall announce the winner/s.

All you do is go to download.com then search Photoshop and it'll give you a list of downloads. You then click one and download it.

WOW, you've picked the wrong time to do this Miss.Svet. As much as you know how much I want to be in the DS..... I currently don't have internet connection at my house, but I can still make sigs - I just have to transfer them to this computer to put in on the internet. But, let me tell you, I will be making sigs within the next couple' of weeks, you can bet your ass I will.

As for my work, well, I will post my photobucket account up. I also adapted a NEW as well (on the sigs thats currently on MY computer)
