PSP 3.52 M33 Installation

1 - If you are under official 1.50 PSP firmware, copy kxploitpatcher and kxploitpatcher% folders from "1.50only/" of this download to your "ms0:/PSP/GAME/" and use it.
2 - Once done it, or if you are under any Special/Open Edition/M33, copy M33CREATOR folder to your "ms0:/PSP/GAME" (1.50fw) or "ms0:/PSP/GAME150" (SE/OE)
3 - Download official 3.52 eboot, rename it to 352.PBP and place it on "ms0:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/" or "ms0:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/"
4 - Download official 1.50 eboot, rename it to 150.PBP and place it on "ms0:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/" or "ms0:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/"
5 - Go to Games/Memory Stick on your PSP, and execute "3.52 M33 CREATOR". Once finished, it will go back to the XMB.
6 - Go again to Games/Memory Stick on your PSP, and execute "3.52 M33UPDATE". You'll have to press X to agree to the installation.
7 - When finished, press X to shut down and reboot manually.
8 - Enjoy your 3.52 M33

- M33 NO-UMD: fixed problem with Simple 2500 Series Portable, The IQ Cube
- Fix a bug which made Go!Cam, GPS and sceKernelLoadExecVSH* not work in game mode.
- PSN downloaded PSX games support wasn't working in 3.51 M33 (didn't work in latest OE's either). Now it is working again. If an original PSN game still doesn't work, we recommend to delete files KEYS.BIN if exists, and copy the game again from ps3 to psp.

*Just copy the "M33Update" folder from the zip file[PSP>GAME150>folder] to your own GAME150
folder in your MS.

Changes:

- Document.dat of psx games were broken due to some important changes in popsman.prx and now is fixed.
  Plus, now document.dat does not need the same gameid as game which is played.

- The compatibility issue with irshell loading psx games in usbhost/nethost has been solved.
  
- Changes in recovery:

1. Removed the advanced config option "use isofs on UMD inserted", as it is not useful now. 
2. Added "Format flash1 and restore settings" in Advanced.
3. Added speeds 20 and 100.
4. When in usb mode inside recovery, it is impossible to turn PSP off.
 
- The chineses and korean languages did not work in XMB, because they crashed homebrew and recovery.
  The issue has been fixed, but korean font is not there, so you need to take it with psardumper from official updater, and put it in flash0:/font/kr0.pgf.

- M33 driver: fixed SBK07, now it work.


With this release we also a plugin to load pops from 3.40, 3.51, and 3.52.
The plugin works in 3.51 M33 and 3.52 M33. In 3.51 M33 you won't see option "3.51", and in 3.52 M33
you won't see option "3.52" (use original from flash for same firmware).

Instructions: copy seplugins to the root of the memory stick. Extract the following prx of a firmware: /kd/popsman.prx, /kd/pops.prx, /vsh/modules/libpspvmc.prx and /vsh/modules/pafmini.prx and copy them to /seplugins/popsloader/ with names like popsman3XX, pops3XX.prx, libpspvmc3XX.prx, pafmini3XX.prx, where XX is 40, 51, or 52.

Activate the plugin in recovery and done! First time you run a game, it will let you choose pops version.
Next time will remember configuration for each game; press R to change it.

The plugin doesn't apply to psn games.

Well, thats clearly your responsibility. Every time i upgrade to a new CFW, i store my Flash0 in my PC in case anything goes wrong while flashing stuff so its clearly your fault.Plus if you search for your old stuff, you can still flash it!

I honestly don't care about homebrew anymore, most of the apps are ****, and the OFW can do most what I want it too. The only real benefit of homebrew is emulation, and I can do that on my Computer

Yeah, I don't use it either but can appreciate that others do. My phat PSP is on ebay making way for the slim. I'm just going to get a PSP slim from Japan for the same money I sell my phat for on ebay (bidding is already at the right price). The only thing I need the custom firmware for is to dump my legitimately purchased UMD games, but there are several qualities of the slim PSP (faster UMD drive, memory caching) that help address the issue.

It actually saddens me to see people donating large sums of money to these hackers while at the same time not even pay the *actual* gamedevs on the platform for a solitary game (look at how many PSP auctions on ebay are for a PSP, several DVDs full of warez, and a demo UMD disc used for booting).

hey so what exactly does this do, i kinda messed up updating my psp just to see how the remote play function worked with the ps3, now i dont even use that feature anymore and im stuck with a 3.50 fw...

what i want to do is to play ps1 games and some psp games downloaded...

Do you have a real SONY FW 3.50???? If so, you can still downgrade it to 1.5 with the use of LUMINUS Retail psp game. Then you can install this Custom Firmware onto your psp.

Hey man do what i did[downgraded my bro's PSP], its worth the 15 bucks or so to get the game!! Anyways just go to your nearest gamestop and get a used copy of it. Once you get it just come back here and ask for help. Seriously though its worth it, not for pirating games but for the homebrew thats available!
