Just wondering what type of cell phones you all have? I'm in the market of getting a new one, mine just met it's death....cell phones can't swim apparently

I hate cellphones and I choose not to own one, though my job may finally force me to buckle and pick one up. ><

As far as I'm concerned, cellphones should be one foot long, weigh a pound, ring exactly like a normal phone (STOP with your STUPID Linkin Park ringtones, people!), and have only two functionalities: making and placing phone calls. Anything else is a ridiculous waste of money. I don't want to pay for a phone the size and weight of a credit card that I'll just forget is in my pocket and run through the washer with my pants. I don't want a camera in my phone. I don't want text messaging. I don't want so surf the 'Net on a keyboard that a mouse would find too small to utilize. A phone should not play MP3s, the list goes on.

Man, do I hate cellphones.

Mine is a Nokia 5300 Xpressmusic... it has everything i need (Music player, Camera, Video etc.)

I have an LG VX8300 because I honestly don't give a **** what my phone does as long as it can call.

But it can record and play video, has a very nice camera, stereo speakers, plays mp3s, 2 very nice color displays, bluetooth capability, and it has a MicroSD card slot - which I use to store MP3s and photos on.



It can also do a bunch of other **** that I really don't care about anyway.

Dash by far. I recently had my MDA swapped for a Dash because it crapped out on me.

Tmobile Dash. (business phone)
Blackberry 7105t. (personal phone)
Motorola I90 for boost mobile. (GPS tracking)

I've gone through a lot of phones over time, and have built up a lot of respect for generic phones, such as HTC phones. For just a regular phone I'd suggest Nokia by all means because of battery life and durability. If you're looking for a smart phone, I'd say something by HTC or at least windows mobile because of the community backing it. Blackberry's are nice and so are sidekicks and the such, but when there's a firmware update and the phone gets screwed up you're pretty much screwed until the next update. Personally, I think that touch screen phones are nice.. but overall the durability sucks.

Got myself a N70 because it is easy to use. I also have a cheap SiemensA62 ,Motorolav51, N7680.
My next phone will definitely be the Iphone (end of this year or beginning nxt year)..I heard the sales are good but not great.

I've had a Nokia 7710 since three years back, great for watching widescreen movies on the go. Its getting old, but I still love it!
