    Two more mods added!

Due to the request from some members of the forum I have installed a Spoiler Mod, which allows you to hide spoilers so as not to ruin it for others. It works by hiding the text, through using a black font on a black backround. To see the spoiler, just select the text. To hide a spoiler put the tags [ spoiler] [ /spoiler] (without the spaces after the first [) around the spoiler itself.

    It will look like this:
[spoiler:309d5bdb4b]This is only an example, not a real spoiler![/spoiler:309d5bdb4b]

The second mod, which came as a request from the moderators, automatically resizes avatars which are over the maximum size limits (80 x 80 pixels). This will apply to all new avatars added from now onwards (however those who had too large avatars before will have them downsized by Admins).

    Enjoy!

New images of the PLAYSTATION 3 have surfaced showing the console powered on for the first time. As you can see, the images aren't the highest of quality due to the fact that these pictures were all taken by camera phone. If you take a detailed look at the photos you would immediately recognize the powered on PS3 is indeed the 60GB model. The blue and green LED lights give off a familiar glow, reminding us of the PlayStation 2. The cords in the back are simply the power cord and the HDMI cable, most likely leading to the consoles corresponding HDTV.

The source of these photos came from a member of PS3Forums dubbed "ps3 insider" who claims he was the one to take those shots. Since his validity can't be proven and remains anonymous, take these pictures with a grain of salt. However, we at PS3Land believe them to be entirely realistic and do indeed show off the PS3 in action. If you are curious as to any other rumors this member has given, feel free to check out this link to the original post he made over at PS3Forums.

    Images uploaded to "/images/ps3inaction_new"

If someone could convert these to jpegs it would help a lot - as PNG files are quite large in terms of filesize. I can't on this PC.

Live, and I edited out the generic yous- it's not a good idea to use them in formal writing.
